Yes, It does very well on hard surfaces. My Granddaughter loves hers. I am getting one for my grandson next.

Q: Do the pedals adjust? I’m worried my daughter won’t reach the pedals but she will grow out of the small size soon. She is 55lbs and approx 50” tall

Q: Will this ride on carpet?

Not sure…but I doubt it would roll over carpeting, the carpet thickness & pad cushioning would be too soft. Kids should also be supervised while riding.

Q: Do the hooves scratch hard wood floors?

No they do not at all. Our house is entirely hard wood and we have had them for 3 years and no floor damage. Girls love them, we only ride them in the house.
