An absolutely smashing product
Disclosure: Luckily, I don't suffer from back pain, just tension. Also, I am obsessed with acquiring various products to massage various body parts. I have more than one hundred different products; like I said, I'm obsessed. That being said, I know an excellent product when I see it. Thorex is one of those products, one thousand percent! Firstly, the quality is absolutely stellar. You can tell simply by picking it up. This thing is solid, and the heft is reassuring. I am a big guy, and I am assured of its sturdiness. Im kinda weird in that I don't usually use a product right away. I tend to "play" with my new products. I ran the thorex up and down my legs while lying on the bed. I placed my calf on top of it and rolled it side to side(the thorex perpendicular to my leg). Absolutely amazing! I am an avid walker, walking up to 40 miles per week, and my calves are demolished daily. The thorex deftly got deep into my calves. Again, it felt amazing!. I also used the thorex on my back while lying on the bed, opting not to roll, but to just move my back while I lay on top of the thorex. This, too, felt amazing. I do have to say that the pressure was too great when I used it on the floor, especially when I was rolling inadvertently across my spine. Not the thorex's fault. I just have to be more careful and learn to use it on the floor. Also tried it against the wall. This is where the thorex excelled. It got deep into my tense back muscles, without me exerting much effort or force. I am very happy with the thorex and look forward to learning how better to use it. The designer/ creator has made a top-notch product. And we're all the better for it.

Great Idea, but needs more engineer/end user meetings and a couple more versions perhaps
Good but hard to use, when you're against the wall it's hard to get positioned correctly with it falling, then putting enough pressure for it to do any good is also difficult, using it on the floor like a roller is impossible because it's so low it's hard to get in a good position, so while it SEEMS like a fantastic idea.. I think it needs a couple more rounds of brainstorming. maybe if the wheels were a little bigger (not wider - but taller) it might be a little better IMO

Effective, simple, quality tool
I have a lot (a ton) of self massage/trigger point devices, but none that work like the Thorex. First impressions: pretty heavy and substantial feeling, wheels are harder than I expected, very simple but nice looking. I tried it briefly against the wall, felt good but I went for the floor right way. First time I laid on it, I thought it was maybe too hard for about 10 seconds. You really have to find a position or muscle area that is comfortable or tolerable, and move slowly once you settle into it. Within 30 seconds I knew it worked for me. My back was pretty tight and I haven't been massaging or stretching that much due to recovering from a lumbar injury. This woke my back up and had me swearing and laughing it felt so good...and healing too, not just ' good.' Starting with it around my shoulder blades and slowly rolling to my lower back, little clicks and muscles just progressively releasing all the way down. I'm convinced it does great things for your spinal muscles, as mine have felt wrong and tight for months, within 10 mins they really did feel different and better. Putting on my socks feels better, walking, everything. Also found it's great up high under your neck too, works pretty well on thighs/hams/butt. Actually found a tennis ball to be better on feet, this Thorex is really tailored for the spine. This and a Rolflex, and a lot can be done for yourself! I'd recommend it.

Pup approved!
I had a big interview today, I wear heels when I work. This morning I woke up tense and stiff. I tried my new Thorex Massager and holy crap! This thing is awesome! I rolled on it on the ground super slow. Helped my sciatic nerve and my tight neck. I only used it about 15 minutes and already felt better. There’s a nice box it comes in that I put it back in to store it. The card explains what to do really well based on your need. I only have one wish for this, it needs to come with a dog toy. Rolling on my back, I had a very curious critter. He kept licking me and trying to play as I rolled, so maybe we both had some fun with it 🤷🏻♀️Any way! Great product, love that it felt strong and sturdy. Just be prepared for super deep tissues to feel it in the best of ways!

Awesome tool for Self maintenance--but also for exercise
This is such a great tool for working through the muscles along your spine, especially in the thoracic region. If you enjoy rolling your back out with a foam roller, but wish it was more localized into the muscle then this is the tool for you. It comes with great instructions on how to do it in certain positions, especially standing to ease the amount of pressure and how to get to certain muscles. What I like the most is that you can use this to do wall squats (it rolls great against the wall) and also for doing floor exercises like hamstring walk-ins/outs (and I am sure there are even more exercises than that). It is such a versatile tool. And the quality is great, very very sturdy. Comes with a really cool case as well. I am a chiropractor, and will be using in my office as a mobility tool.

It's okay but not worth the money
I was looking for something to do deep massage in the muscles around the spine. These muscles are really tight for me through the thoracic spine. This roller was somewhat effective. It is solid and rolls very smoothly and provides some amount of focused massage. However, I found it didn't dig deep enough to really work on the muscles.I would rate this roller higher but I can't recommend it given the price. I personally find that taping two tennis balls together can give me a similar massage at a fraction of the cost.
