I need a reason to hate this watch
Holy moly. I love this watch. Bought it on June 7th as my second ever stainless steel watch (first was a vintage pulsar) and I’m impressed. The quality is amazing for $68 and the gold plating looks amazing. Invicta doesn’t list anything about it being gold plated but it looks and almost feels like it. Where the links touch there are points of wear but they are barely noticeable and I pick out every little detail lol. There’s scratches on the sides and the polished center links on the band but the polished spots are the only places scratches can be seen. Even then unless you stare at it from 5 inches away, they’re invisible. The links are pretty easy to remove. I have a 7.5 inch wrist and had to remove three and set the spring pin for the clasp to the outermost position from the safety clasp. It slides a little bit but it stays in one spot and doesn’t feel tight. Some link pins felt harder to remove than others but considering the price and other features, just hit it with a little bit more love :)The pictures don’t do it any justice. The gold sparkles in the sun and the dial has a beautiful sunburst. The bezel is 120 click style with about half a minute of play. The numbers and markers are raised and polished. This watch is based off a Rolex Yacht Master 16628 from what I can see. It is a pro diver so it’ll get hate but just wear what makes you happy. The movement is very accurate only gaining about 2 minutes in the month I’ve had it. And I wear it almost daily but it probably hasn’t ever been fully wound. The lume absolutely sucks but that’s okay because this watch looks much better in the day and almost too good to wear in dark water.Basically, slap it on your wrist and try not to stare at it. It seems like it will hold up great and if the gold plating eventually comes off to the point it looks cheap and bad, just buy some sandpaper to have a silver watch lol. I’ll eventually update this review but I really recommend this watch it’s perfect for dressing up, beating on, or a watch collection.Edit: 8/7/2020 (I used this watch to check the date btw)It still shines. I've moved furniture, a heavy fish tank that I never want to see again, and sweated a lot with it on. It has a ton of micro scratches on the polished center links but they aren't noticeable from any farther than an inch away. The crystal and cyclops are still unscratched and the bezel still looks amazing. The accuracy has been amazing as well and it's only died two times (I wear it a lot). I've worn it in the shower and to bed and it still looks great. There are more noticeable scratches on the clasp but no one looks at a clasp anyways. One link on the inside has the plating worn off but it still looks great from the outside. I don't get a lot of compliments but as with everything, don't buy something to impress someone else. At most I would pay $87 for this watch since there are other gold-plated Invictas that are staying down in price.Edit again: 7/11/21Been through a lot with this watch. An 11 month relationship of my dream and a heartbreak of my nightmares. Gone fishing, walked around Publix, and been through school with it. It’s lasted. The plating hasn’t come off. It’s still below +3 seconds a day accurate. Still flashy but honestly it’s lasted so long I’d say either I got one lucky watch or invicta makes at least this model right.Edit yet again: 6/2/23It has been way too long since I’ve updated this review and a ton has happened since then. The watch keeps excellent time without ever getting serviced and it still looks great. The gold plating rubbed off one spot on the band, but I think that was because I took the bracelet off to change it to a rubber strap and dropped it and scratched it somehow. This watch has held up great and I doubt it’ll go bad anytime soon nor in the far future even. Buy it. It’ll last you. Even when relationships and lawnmowers don’t, this watch will still be there. And the gold plating on the watch itself will last forever. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another invicta, and I’m looking for others to buy now to start a collection again.

A man needs a pimp watch.
Once in a while, an occasion may arise when you want attentions. This Invicta looks seriously expensive and does the job without big financial investment. It's more of a fashion accessory than a tool watch. As everyone knows gold plating can't withstand much abuse. Extra cares should be given to ensure the gold stays shiny and nice as a peeling, scratched gold plate looks ugly, tacky, and defeats the purpose. I only wear this watch occasionally as I have other non-plated watches that can take abuse. What I love about this one is although it's a bling watch, it doesn't lack substance. The watch is powered by Seiko NH35 automatic movement which is simple, easy to care, and reliable and Invicta cases are good. So for me, it's as if you get a Seiko at 1/3 price which is a real bargain. Lume is easy to light up although it doesn't stay as bright and as long as Super Luminova. I have seen worse so not a deal breaker for me. The blue dial gives a perfect contrast and makes the hands pop. The date magnifier on the watch I received is perfectly centered and easy to read.Be warned that the gold tone of this watch isn't that of a bright, vivid 24k gold, but a tad more grayish and subdued, although not to the level of a champagne gold (left), since I have a 24k gold watch to compare (right). It's perhaps better this way for most people to enjoy a gold watch without feeling too needy for attentions but in a more understated manner.

Such a great look
This watch has such a classic sophisticated look. It would be a perfect everyday watch to wear to the office. The beautiful rich gold tone is eye-catching. The strong metal construction ensures it will last for years to come. It's such a good price! It would make a great gift for anyone who loves a good watch. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Beautiful Watch, Super Tight Band Pins
Great watch, just what I was looking for. Classic and classy. I've removed links from several bands on other watches, including other Invictas, and this was the most difficult band to deal with yet. I bent and broke several pin removal punches while removing links from this band. Why so tight? I have other Invictas that were child's play in comparison. Great watch, had to buy an replacement watch repair kit after ruining my old one while removing links from the band.
