Q: Is the hat waterproof?

I have never checked. However, after 3 years the hat hasn't lost its color and form. Thus, they are great hats. I imagine that if it wasn't waterproof, my sweat by now should have made mincemeat out of the hat.

Q: I need a "hunter green" cap to go with a "hunter green" set of scrubs. how close is your dark green? how many would i have to order to get "h. green?"

We ordered the camo green color which definitely does not have hunter green in it. I can’t advise you on color but it is a nice quality hat.

Q: Would this fit a 7 year old boy?

They are multi-size, i.e., you can accommodate any head with its velcro band. However, I don’t know how small is the head of a 7 Year Old child. But, I think the velcro band is 3 inches long, so there's room for a little head, albeit you may have to take needle and thread to strengthen the short velcro contact for a very small head.

I have a black and a kaki they are 100% cotten
