Working amazingly on Infiniti EX35
I've been using an aux connected bluetooth receiver for a long time on my previous car. When I got this one, I got another one (sold my car with that previous one) and was "happy", but I did wanted to have steering wheel controls. I almost got the other one that looks exactly like this one but it is a bit more expensive (I don't know if I can name it here or not, and I don't want to look like a boovine -- ;) -- for writing it here) but then I read that this one is supposed to send track info from android devices as well. I wasn't so sure, since the other one is "supposedly" from a more trusted brand, but decided to bit the bullent and went with this one. I'm so freaking glad I did that!!! Plugged it in, connected my android phone, hit the play icon and VOILA!!!! Track info on my car's screen! Working steering wheel controls, of course, and I can definitely assure you that the audio quality is a lot better than playing through the AUX input. I was actually trying to find some 1" 2-ohm tweeters to replace the ones on my car (and, thankfully those things are hard to come by, else I'd have ordered them), thinking that was the source of the lack of treble.... WRONG!!!! I can DEFINITELY hear the high hats now, the way they are supposed to sound! Really enjoying the audio clarity and quality now!I did have to use the power injector, and for whatever reason the one I got is more than double the price that what was paid by the guys who wrote the original article that showed how to connect this on an Infiniti EX, but I'd say that it's worth it. Since I plan on hiding EVERYTHING under the center console, I'd rather have a tested and confirmed-to-be-good power injector than a flimsy one that might fail, making me disassemble the whole center console again. All in all, AMAZING audio quality, track information displayed from an Android device, steering wheel (and radio, obviously) controls.... This breathed some needed new life into my car's sound system. I was even considering getting some of those Android boxes that gives you Android Auto and Car Play, and upgrade the screen to an HD one, without losing the original radio / amp / Bluetooth for the phone (and having my nav available on my screen rather than using the phone could be a selling factor) but for now, I'm so happy with this adapter that I might not want to do that. So, to summarize... don't overthink it, GET IT NOW!

Works great with my Alpine Head unit and Android phone
I have an older Alpine head unit with a cable for connecting to a 30 pin iPod.This device allowed me to plug in to my existing cable and listen to Spotify through my Android phone.Installation was simple. Just plugged the device into my cable, paired it with my phone, and that's all it took.I can advance the songs from my head unit controls, and it even tells me what son is playing.Could not be happier with the result.

Eventually I got it working. Happy!
Works on 2008 Audi A6 MMI 2 High.Instructions are not robust. What does red button do? I tried on and off. I was able to make a Bluetooth connection, but no sound into car. I reluctantly opened dreaded apple music app on my iphone, I downloaded one new song (after subscribing for 'free 3 month trial' of Apple Music) Grr... Low an behold that loathsome U2 track started playing. Yay!? Bottom line, Iphone Apps like Pandora, YouTube Music work just fine via bluetooth. Track and folder stuff, is reserved for Ipod style listening, with Apple Music. I recommend it, as my favorite apps like Pandora and Youtube Music play nice and clear, even with this tucked away in glove compartment, and my phone on the seat, or on center console. If only I can find the patience to rid my iphone of Apple Music, I'd be happy. Every time I get in my car, that forced download of U2 plays. I love U2! Just not 'California'? Brushing up on how to defeat Apple Music App intrusions now. Obviously not a fault of manufacturer here. It's an Apple thing. Bottom Line, it works. Track up/down on center console works. Screen displays song name and artist in text. Folder and ipod navigation through MMI are reserved for Ipod style playback, not for other apps. Other apps must be controlled on phone screen. (which is a distraction). But I am very happy with being cord free, and having streaming ability in my car through factory sound system. I recommend it. What does red button do? Power? Reset? Blue light is present or flashing whether I press red button or not.

Works great with aftermarket Alpine CDA-9857
I have an old Alpine CDA-9857 (ca. 2007) with a 30-pin iPod connector and a lightning adapter for my iPhone 8. This unit replaced that setup, which was prone to falling out on rough roads. Installation was easy. This adapter has a slide switch for "iPod / Apple Music" mode. I set it to that and installed on the cable. Powered up, paired with my iPhone, and set the head unit source to iPod. Came right up and reconnected on a multi-errand trip in and out of the car. Output level is a little low compared to the hard wire, but is otherwise just fine - sounds great.

Expensive but did not last
I’ve had this product only for 7 months and it started turning on and off in my Porsche 997 losing connection with my iPhone 11. I can’t seem to pinpoint the issue as the cables are all connected. It just shuts down while I’m driving and later it goes on again. Irritating when I’m listening to music.

iPad compatible 30 pin iPad interface Bluetooth adapter
I was looking for 30 pin iPod interface Bluetooth adapter with iPad termination impedance. I have bought a car with an old Clarion navigation system with Bluetooth function only for a phone function. It has a wired iPod interface with 30-pin connector. I bought a different Bluetooth adapter with 30-pin connector but my navigation system did not realize the adapter. When I tried this Airdual adapter by plugging it to Navigation's wired iPod interface, the system recognized the adapter as iPod and I could choose iPod from Navigation sytem menue! Teh sound quality is good, Bluetooth connection is stable and get connected very quickly when I turn my cars iginition. I got what I wanted with Airdual Bluetooche adapter. This worked for me very well. However, it coud be different for others with different systems.
