If you want a pencil darker than the far recesses of Caravaggio's mind, then this is the one for you. Super creamy (to be expected) so you'll need to sharpen it frequently. For me, it's perfect for the finishing touches on a graphite drawing - bits like pupils, nostrils and the corners of my subjects mouth. Every graphite artist should have one of these in their art box.

Very, very black! Good pencil, very durable: I've used two of these now, and the lead has only snapped twice during sharpening. This is the blackest pencil I have ever come across, so dark it easily rivals charcoal. BE WARNED: it doesn't rub out, so any mark you make is permanent. Also, I does not layer very well, meaning you would have difficulty trying to use it to add darker tone to an existing graphite layer.When you know how to handle it, very good!

This is a good pencil to achieve a dark black shade.

Es un lapicero decente, la madera es buena no se astilla al sacar punta ni nada, igual un poco caro para lo que es pero siempre que lo compres por separado no bajaría de los 2,00€.

Ich selbst nutze für meine Portraitzeichnungen diese Stifte. Leider suche ich weiterhin vergeblich nach dem einem Schwarzstift derselben Marke. Leider finde diesen nicht mehr. Dieser Artikel ist eher ein Bleistift, erfüllt aber seinen Zweck mindestens so gut wie ein Schwarzstift. Daher 5 Sterne.
