Authentic product
Amezing sound quality and genuine product.I got it for 250 only.....in this range this is the best diatonic harmonica trust me.This is a richter tuned diatonic harmonica which Is mainly for playing blues..........not for Indian songs. For Indian song you need a solo tuned diatonic harmonica or a chromatic harmonica

Good For beginner
The media could not be loaded. It's been a while since i bought this product. I have been playing 24 holes chromatic harmonica since 1 year and i always wanted to try 10 holes diatonic harmonica so i ordered this harmonica Based its reviews. Compare to old harmonica, this harmonica need to blow with more pressure so It can give hard time in the beginning. I found that the higher Octave notes are not that clean but overall i love this product, sound is good, preferable for jamming and western songs.

Not good for beginners
This model have problem of air-leak,hole 1 and from then 4 to 7 works good but 2nd blow and draw and then 8th blow leaks to much air.Sound quality is good.overall it is good for normal songs which plays between 4 to 7 means Sargam works well.I will never suggest it to a beginner,"East-top t008" which i bought with it is really very good totally airtight model and that one bends easily also.

Good Quality...rich sound, Hohner is the best
In terms of Quality Harmonica, Hohner is one of the name....Good Quaity, but for beginners, it's quite hard to learn as it involves Overblows and Bending of notes....but talking about the product I got is good nd sound is very rich ..you will feel it when you play it......Thanks for this product.

doubtful
very old stock 2021 with mrp less than the price, no outer packaging, just plastic cover and harmonica, doubt its originality.

Why overall 8/10 score for silverstar?
Purchased it after throughgoing many harmonicas and have been using it for 2 weeks:Pros:- Packaging by amazon was great.- This small size (10 x 3 x 2.5 cm) richter tuned harmonica succeds in giving excellent response with great sound.- What is Richter tuned? : Single note having undivided channel openings, which allows the airflow to pass over both blow and draw reeds simultaneously enables to produce bluesy wailing sound by bending - i.e. by lowering the pitch of certain notes.- Overblowing produces the missing chromatic notes lying in between the notes of the major scale 'c'.Cons.-Need to spare more air for upmark sound.-If just beginning to learn bending, you can use it before wasting bucks on expensive ones.-cannot expect it to go for too long with same sound quality. In short, Go for it if you want good sound in minimum bucks. Silver star can play pop & rock, folk, speciality while blues band will only be able to play blues. If budget is more go for blue harps, special 20 or crossover.

Terrible, leaks air, need to blow and draw too much air.
This is overpriced only because it has the Hohner brand, but does not have the quality. Its same quality as cheaper chinese models available at half the price. Then I ordered Hohner Special 20 (its expensive) and Easttop T008K (had great reviews online). Easttop T008K is much much better tha SilverStar at almost the same price. Special 20 is much more expensive, but feels almost same as Easttop, not better.SilverStar is the worst of them all, leaks too much air. You will need to blow and draw too much air, with Easttop and Special 20 you need to use much less air and can play easier and longer and better.
