This leg bag is almost perfect. It's made great, looks great and is going to be perfect as soon as it's broke in. My one complaint - the smell. It smelled like diesel fuel and so strong that it took over the room when I opened it. I did some searches and then wiped it down with vinegar and let air. Did this twice before wrapping as the Christmas gift and gave fair warning to the recipient in case there was odor when opening. I've had other leather items and never had this smell. This is the second one of these I purchased and BOTH smelled this way at first.

Really have enjoyed this hip pack, I don’t even use the thigh strap anymore because it’s nice just to have it on my hip to the side. I wear a baby carrier and I needed something out of the way since my baby is usually in front of me all the time and purses don’t work easily. I think this option was by far the best and easiest way for me to carry my phone and cards. I like that my iPhone 10 fits in it and my car keys in the front pocket. Pretty sturdy too, I go everywhere with my hip bag and it’s super convenient, the leather is also really nice quality too! Would recommend this hip/thigh bag to anyone needing something light, small and convenient!

I rarely write reviews but this bag is game changing. Purses hurt my back and shoulders and even when I have pockets, trying to carry everything that way is annoying.This bag is beautiful, sits comfortably and stays put, and eliminates so many everyday problems for me. I use a power wheelchair so a regular purse normally sits in my lap, which is annoying. And with this, I can reach everything I need one handed so I can keep using my other hand on the joystick - no more stopping to pull out my phone or whatever!It also eliminates the hassle of having to take off a bag every time you need to remove or put on a layer. Winter is about to get much easier.As others have mentioned, it's both surprisingly capacious and astonishingly well organized without being too bulky. I can fit everything I need, know where things are, and access them immediately.So yeah, great for wheelchair users, butch lesbians, and anyone else who wants to look cool and not have to carry everything in a purse or pockets.Only caveat - unfortunately like so many things, not great for fat people. The belt was just a little too short to be comfortable for me. I was able to make it work by adding a caribiner but if you're bigger than me I think it might not work. For reference, I'm under 5'5" and around 200 lbs.

Got it for my dad as a gift he travels a lot and wanted exactly this one for his passport wallet and such. He loved it and good quality

Was trying to use this as a modern version of a kilt sporran but it was a little to big....the quality of leather and craftsmanship was great. Wish I would've had a use for it as it seems like a great bag.

The leather is durable and I've been able to use it to carry gardening tools, but it wouldn't work as a hip purse because of the arrangement of the pockets. The largest pockets are big enough to fit a 5" phone, but if you put anything else in the smaller pocket in front, like keys, lip balm, anything, it slips to the bottom of the bag and you can't fit your phone. The pockets should have been sewn at the bottom of the front but instead they wrap underneath the entire bag. So, if you put keys in the small front pocket they fall down underneath the big pocket and your phone won't fit. It is also very difficult to reach in and take your keys back out again. I've considered using super glue to glue the bottom of the pocket together, but I just ended up using it to carry garden shears and my phone while I'm working and don't use the front pocket for anything.

The build quality is alright but my bag arrived covered in mold on the inside and out.

Originally I bought this for part of a Renaissance Festival costume, now I use it almost daily. It's sturdy enough for day to day use, and easily carries everything I need for work. Phone fits in the main zipper as does my small notebook, pens, markers and I can easily attach my box cutter holster to the strap that goes around my waist. The only issue I had is because of my awkward size the strap that goes around the thigh rubs in an uncomfortable way. Tried it with a friend and she had no issues, so just my awkward measurements.
