Usable for VGA to Extron RGB DB9
Some of Extron's video equipment (Like the Extron RGB 202 rxi) use non-standard 9 pin RGB cabling. They sell the cables, but they're a pretty penny. I looked up the pinout and this cable is the same, so it can be used to convert a normal 15 pin VGA cable for use in extron equipment in these strange ports. I bought one to test and it did indeed work at a fraction of the cost. Hopefully if there is anyone left still looking for a cable like this, this comment will help.
