I had tried coated strings from another company but was not happy with the way they felt and sounded. These Elixir strings are very good. I cannot report on string longevity as l installed them just this week on an SG style electric guitar.

Far and away the best strings out there. Sound amazing, feel amazing, last for months when others don't last 3 days. I'm not exaggerating either. I'll gladly take month-old elixirs over brand new ernie ball. Three pack is a decent deal and the shipping is timely. Hard to beat it!

Elixers are the best. Pay a lil more but last way longer. Worth it

Save $$$ on strings, continued sound and tone for months(I play everyday) My play style includes lots of bending, have broke the E string a few times but not before months of play. Stretching takes little effort, it's almost like they are per-stretched(I know they aren't). No matter If you have dirt cheap or high end tuners, they will be within a 1/16 step in tune(if not dead on) every time you pick it up.

The coating has virtually no effect on the sound, and they last about twice as long. I am a gigging musician who used to break a lot of strings. Elixers have cut that down a lot. My sweat would eat through a set of strings in one gig. Doesn't happen with these.

I’ve tried cheaper strings but these last so long. I play 4 hours a night 6 nights a week plus practice time and these last me at least 2 weeks.
