Good for finishing guitar necks too.
I recently built a telecaster style guitar kit I purchased on Amazon and the Tru-Oil Gun Stock Finish put a satin finish on the neck that doesn't grip the palm of your hand when you sweat a little. Makes playing more comfortable and faster.

Great Product
Birchwood Casey's Tru Oil is a great product and I have used it on many of the knives I have built. It provides a very good protective finish and is east to apply.

Brings out wood grain
It makes wood grain 'pop out pretty'. It nicely brings out the grain as linseed would AND leaves a light sheen, too. I've used it on walnut and curly birch knife handles. It leaves them very nice!
