This part number is made in USA, good quality.
Fully synthetic element made in USA. The anti-drain back valve works good until about 5000 miles when you hear minor bearing/rod rattle for a second upon start-up. I’m still using these.

Perfect Fit for My 2012 Prius-V!
This oil filter cartridge and O-Ring fit perfectly on my 2012 Toyota Prius V.I highly recommend buying this filter, and changing your own oil, as I don't really trust the local car oil change places. If this is your first attempt at changing this filter, you might need to purchase the Prius Oil Filter removal socket tool. I have a similar type of oil removal socket tool for a Nissan Frontier, and it does work to remove the Prius filter housing. It just takes a little prying or impact effort to remove the removal tool from the filter housing. If you are changing your oil, be sure to buy a new gasket for your oil drain plug, which isn't part of this oil filter cartridge purchase. You might also want to have a few plastic "push rivets" on hand, as the heads of these push rivet devices will often break when you try to remove them.If you watch a few YouTube videos for changing your oil for your car model, you will quickly realize if you have the necessary skill set, tools and location required to change you own oil.Believe in yourself, and you can change your own oil!
