The Picture of Dorian Gray Paperback – 1 January 2016

One of the most engrossing books I have ever read. It is easy to see why this book is so popular even after so many years. The language is captivating. The insights into the human mind and the commentary on human society are thought-provoking. Dorian Gray is a young, beautiful and unblemished man in the full bloom of youth. He slowly falls in love with himself when he watches the adoration he evokes in others. Unwittingly, he descends into a spiral of vanity and corruption, influenced by friends. However, he has one thing which can save him. Only question is - will he let it?

Had always kept away from classics thinking they will be too much effort to understand. This is a wonderful book and lovely story. He nicely brings out all the shades of grey in human nature. However Mr Wilde is a sexist and did not like any of his views on women.

No words. I call certain books 'Evil books' because of the after effect it causes to our mind after reading. This is definitely one of them.Everything I said above is complement. I loved it. Classics are unbeatable

Awesome work by Oscar Wilde, the magic in the words & the way he describes beauty is mesmerizing! Story is mind boggling!

Each and every line of this book is worth reading and understanding. :)

Print , paper quality is good.one of the best books i have read so far.

The delivery was great but I didn’t know it was homoerotic. So putting it out there for anyone who doesn’t know.
