Works for my collie...
I'm not a big believer in the various supplements, whether they're for man or beast. But these work for preventing UTIs in my female collie. She's had one every two or three years. Last time, the vet said she'd need to be on prescription food for the rest of her life because of the infection and crystals in her urine. She didn't like the food, and it wasn't very nutritious. So after some Googling, I found that the Whole Dog Journal-- one of the few pet health publications I trust-- recommended trying cranberry supplements for dogs with crystals in the urine. Basically, it said that in most cases, if you prevent the infection you prevent the crystals, and cranberry helps fight the infection. So she's been on the supplements for around 18 months. Well, a few weeks ago, she was acting like she wasn't feeling well, and this was a few days after the hospitalization of a relative meant she was shut in the house for 15 hours for a couple days, and 9-10 hours on subsequent days. I suspected an infection from having to hold her urine for so long, so one morning before taking off for the hospital, I took a sample in to the vet. She called back an hour later with the news that there was no infection, no crystals, and the pH was good. So as far as I'm concerned, cranberry supplements have proved themselves. And Katy probably just got into something outside that didn't agree with her stomach.

Celtie's Choice!
Celtic Creme ~ Celtie for short is a (short) little 10 lb. toy poOdle! She was suffering with frequent urinary tract infections. Her doctor advised us to purchase this product. Well, if purchased through the Vet's office, we found it to be quite expensive. I searched the internet and found it, with the most affordable price, through this vendor on Amazon. Was I surprised?? I've been a satisfied customer of Amazon.com for many years and now of this seller. I'm pretty sure I offered my thoughts in a review about this product in the past... I will again. The product is good and palatable for your pet to love. ALWAYS REMEMBER, CONSULT YOUR VET BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING FOR YOUR PET. If required, you will love this product for its price... and your pet will LOVE it for its taste.

Works great for my cat
My male cat suffered from urinary crystals a very young age (less than one year) and had a blockage that cost several hundred dollars to treat. I was really worried about this becoming a lifelong problem because he was so young. Steps I took from that point were to switch him from dry food to canned food exclusively and give him one-quarter of a PalaTech cranberry tablet every day. He has been doing great ever since. My vet prescribed a urinary formula canned food, but it looked disgusting and apparently tasted disgusting too as he preferred starvation to eating that stuff. Not to mention how ridiculously expensive it was. (He gets Friskies canned food now.) I am convinced that the cranberry tablets make a big difference in helping to keep his urine acidic to prevent crystals from forming. He wasn't crazy about the taste of the tablets at first, but over the first week or two he learned to like them more and more and now looks forward to getting his pill every day like a special treat. All I have to do is shake the bottle and he comes running. Thanks PalaTech for keeping my kitty healthy and happy!

Took a DOUBLE dose to prevent UTI, but it works!
Quick summary...My cat Jasper was clear of a UTI and struvite crystals. After being on the regular dosage for 8 weeks he developed a minor UTI, no crystals in urine. I doubled the dose, moved to fed wet food only to help flush out the bladder, and used prebiotics and probiotics. Infection cleared without antibiotics and the Ph dropped (struvite crystals which can cause a life threatening bloackage dissolve in lower Ph).My cat Jasper has had chronic UTI issues for years. Cats on dry food only are dehydrated. They don't drink enough water. My cat's bladder was frequently infected, the urine PH was high, and struvite crystals formed potentially causing a life threatening blockage.MARCH 2014 - Jasper had a UTI, struvite crystals, urine concentration high. I treated him with antibiotics and wet food once a day and it cleared up in 14 days. Urine concentration still high and ph still high at 7.0MAY 23rd 2014 - STARTED ON CRANBERRY TABLETS and, following the instructions, I started Jasper on 1/4 tablet daily (1 tablet per 40 lbs, 10 lb cat) Continued wet food once a day.JULY 15th 2014 - Jasper developed a very minor UTI. Vet did not feel antibiotics were warranted. Ph dropped from 7.0 to 6.5 Increased Cranberry tablets to twice a day (double dose) and treated infection with probiotics (Purina Fortiflora), prebiotics (Source Naturals FOS Fructooligosaccharides), and wet food only diet.AUGUST 26th 2014 - Infection cleared. On double dose Ph dropped from 6.5 to 6.0. On wet food only concentration dropped some but was still high.OCTOBER 18th 2014 - Discontinued probiotics August 26th, continued prebiotics and double dose of cranberry tablets and no sign of a urinary tract infection.I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that Jasper developed a UTI while on this and it took a double dose to clear up. I will check him for a UTI again in 6 months and update my post.
