I wear this robe over both my sleeveless AND long sleeve 100% cotton nightgowns, in both Summer and Winter every day, both morning and evening and the fit and feel is TOTALLY comfortable. I am 5' 5" tall and weigh 120 lbs. I wear a size small in this robe. The sleeve length is perfect, never getting wet in the sink when I put a few dishes through water before bed, or when washing my hands and face. The sleeve length is not short by any means. My arms and wrists always feel perfectly covered, with exactly the right amount of material to master the epitome of both function and form.The length and fullness of the skirt is absolutely perfect and luxurious, while not so luxurious that it is not completely practical. I sit quite comfortably to read bedtime stories to my little girl who likes to sit in my lap or under an arm and always find myself feeling completely comfortable in this robe. It is an effortless fit.I wash it in hot water with bleach every few weeks. It shows NO signs of wear to my delight. I bought white, so I could enjoy using bleach and never fear any coffee tea, or egg stains. :)The two-button closure is SO elegant! The robe just hangs perfectly and I always feel more than decently covered when my teenagers are in and out of the house with their friends, or neighbors of all ages stop by unexpectedly. The robe makes me feel well cared for, elegant, and dignified. I feel like a queen in it.The two buttons fell off and were lost under regular use in the first month of my purchase- I was completely distraught because I loved the robe so much and have an equally passionate aversion to any form of sewing....nevertheless, I was too in love to not try my hand at sewing on two new buttons from Walmart- and they stayed and fixed the problem perfectly.I could never say enough good things about this robe, it's one of the kindest things I've ever done for myself.SADLY, I lost it among the hotel towels and washcloths on our last family vacation- so I am waiting with bated breath for my second one to arrive in the mail any day now. I will NEVER buy a different robe!I've spent the whole year looking for one just like it for my little girl, but there are NONE! I desperately wish this company would create these for girls sizes too! they would have NO competition.All my junk sleepwear is GONE...all I need is my two sleeveless and two long sleeves and one AWESOME 100% cotton eyelet lace white robe for bedtime and I'm set! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE - I'm a VERY choosy shopper, and this discovery is a huge win! Enjoy! PS: the pockets are AWESOME!I forgot to mention, after washing I only hang to dry;I also take care to flatten out all the lovely trim so it dries very nicely.I am 110% satisfied! And will gladly sew on new buttons again if the cause arrives. this baby's worth it!

This robe is beautiful! It’s a perfect weight for spring / summer. I wear a ladies size 12. Ordered a Large. It was big on me when I tried it on, then washed it in cold water, dried on low heat until only the pockets were damp. Fits beautifully now!

I purchased this thinking it was a nightgown but it actually is a delicate robe. It is so dainty and elegant. It's white with lilac flowers and green leaves all over it except for the trim which is white lace and embroidery. There are embroidered scallops all around the edge of the trim and a big ruffle around the edge of the bottom of the robe with little slits on either side. It opens up in the front with two latches set broadly apart. It's open all the rest of the way down the front and is V-necked with 3/4 inch wide bell sleeves, and embroidered edges about 3 inches wide. It is %100 cotton, very lightweight. I haven't laundered it yet but will put it on the delicate cycle and hang it to dry. The length of it falls just to my ankles and I am 5'8" tall, 136lbs, and I got a medium. It does run big, I almost could have taken a small. It arrived on time and was packaged in a white gauze bag, very nice. I am so pleased, it's very soft and comfy, and doesn't wrinkle. If you like the "romance" type clothes you will love this. It's so feminine and just so girlie. BTW the white is sort of an off white but not beige, more like an eggshell white, while the border or trim which is very wide, is bright white. It's more Spring and Summer wear, but with your nightgown underneath, it will be warmer for Autumn. It is extremely nice fabric and is well worth the $60...

This robe is beautiful. Not too thin. NOT see through. It arrived very winkled and seems bit big. I"m 5 ft. 7 and 175 lbs. so washed it rinse and spin cycle in in a garment bag and dried in dryer.. That shrunk it to the perfect size and only very slightly wrinkled. So very sweet and comfortable. It's true that it tends to be too long, so I hemmed it up a couple of inches and also secured all 4 buttons with needle and thread, so they wouldn't fall off. They do include a spare button. I ordered the vintage rose and they send the violet floral color by mistake. Still beautiful. I just ordered another in the rose so I'll have an extra . If the first wears out, I'll have another. This is my favorite robe EVER!

True to size, the cotton is the perfect weight for me. I tend to go through menopausal sweats, and find it hard to wear robes for modestys sake. The lightness of the fabric is amazing, and just gets softer with every wash. It has been durable as well, and is so sexy in that Jane Eyre/Victorian or Outlander kind of way!Don't wait, take the plunge, you'll too fall in love with this piece!
