peace of mind
I purchased a used computer for travelling and had no history on the computer so for my peace of mind I purchased this item to detect anything that could possibly hinder my travelling experience like trying to explain to customs agents what some items on my computer could be. Computer cleaned...good job!

Wrong description. 4ohm and 5.0 inch
Description is very wrong. Speakers are NOT 8 ohm. I needed 8 ohm for factory replacement. Installed with resistors inline since all other cat audio speakers are 4 ohm. Also it's 5" not 5.25. Speakers are pretty good though even though the description is wrong.Edit Description has 4 ohm now. And a different model number. Something is jacked in Amazon database. Should have been model mlm580

So far - not good!
It did not occur to me that something that seemed to be pretty straight forward would end up being a pain. My first clue was that the unit seemed to be used or refurbished or had been a return and then resold to me because the plastic wrap around the packaging did not fit and I doubt that it was the original wrap. The description of the unit from the software it downloads reads as if it is a wonderful marvelous piece of technology. The instructions on how to use it seemed simple enough - but the results so far have been useless. Using the default settings, I ran the unit on the C:Drive on my laptop that had 300 GB used space. I started it at night before going to bed. The next day, after10+ hours running - the Stick had only scanned a part of the Programs folder. It had tagged 4,100 images and sorted them into 3 folders ranging from low to high based on how likely the image would contain porn. Most of the images were tagged at medium to high risk which surprised me because I didn't think I had any adult related images on that computer and I certainly didn't expect adult images in my Programs folders. At that rate it would have taken a day or two to complete its task so I stopped the unit to review all the 4,100 images it had found. Only one of them had humans in it and they were fully dressed. It picked up a stop sign, software icons, a line drawing of a circle - literally everything.I changed the settings for higher accuracy and started again and selected only my Pictures folder. It was so slow that I could have manually reviewed every folder and file in a fraction of the time. I stopped the search several hours later because it was nothing but annoying at that point. I will adjust the settings again and run it on my netbook which has 38 Gb total used. I'll update my review once I have anything good to say about the unit.btw the Seller 'Brickhouse Security' stopped carrying the unit and it's tagged 'Discontinued' on their web page. I actually purchased the unit directly via Amazon Prime.
