These were so easy to do. Add the right amount of water and either apple cider vinegar or regular vinegar and wait 2-3 days and then you have amazing pickles. We absolutely loved making them and then eating them up!!! Fun project for kiddos with some supervision on the cutting and measuring liquids.

These kits are great and very easy to prepare ahead of time. I was given one as a gift and served it at Thanksgiving as an appetizer. Everyone really liked the pickles and asked about the recipe. I ordered six more to give as gifts around the holidays.

Let's say you know someone who gardens and has a bunch of cucumbers all at once. Pickles are easy to make, just vinegar, spices and time usually does the trick. This solution is much easier than canning, pickles taste great and fresh and make for nice gifts to give to the person who gave you all the cucumbers in the first place.
