The Proxmark 3 is an open-source device developed by Jonathan Westhues that enables sniffing, reading and cloning of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tags. The Proxmark 3 could arguably be regarded as the most powerful device currently available for researching RFID and Near Field Communication systems. The FPGA allows it to meet the demanding communications timing requirements imposed by various RFID systems. The device targets low and high frequency systems operating at 125 kHz, 134 kHz and 13.56 Mhz.The Proxmark VX is an improved hardware version based on the original design. Unlike the “Geek” PCB board version, this device is very small with a compact case. It fits easily in your pocket. Small but also powerful. No need for external antennas. Nothing is missing from the small case. In the compact case it has both HF and LF antennas. It is completely compatible with all current versions of Proxmark 3 software.
