The best and most durable headset I have owned
Bottomline firstI have had this headset for almost a year. During that time, I have used it for work and gaming both for multiple hours at a time. The cushions on the ear pads are comfortable, the boom mic doesn't pick up a bunch of background noise, and has lasted through less than gentle transport in my laptop bag.ProsDurableDecent sound qualityThe mic doesn't pick up background noise like the AC right behind meIt works on my Mac, my Xbox, and my PCIt doesn't make my ears sweaty when used for prolonged timesConsThe dongle to split the single plug to a dual plug was unreliableThe inline mute button can be hit accidentally

it's a shame
it's really a shame because, they are very comfortable, the mic sounds good and they are very sturdy. when I first used the headphone volume knob it would crackle and so would the mic when I adjusted it (also the audio quality isn't to good). that in it's self isn't too bad but soon after that I would have to mess with the cable to get sound in both the left and right ear. about 2 months later and the right headphone just gave out. it is way to expensive and will not last

Extremely well built!
This headset looks and feels like its built to a Mil- Spec. Large and very heavy duty. Sound quality is excellent. Easy access volume control (actual turn knob on left earpiece.) Weight is heavier than most, but that's why they are so strong. The head band is padded stainless spring steel - but they are quite comfortable due to a wide padded band. I actually used them at the firing range and they did decent there too! My only complaint - The ear holes are bit small, but I have a big head so they will work fine for most. Easily the most durable, heavy duty gaming headset on the market. These will not break after a year of use like most.

headset is comfortable
Updated review after having for 2 yearsHead set is very durable. Threw it around a lot seen a lot of abuse but that's about it. the mic stopped working completely, the attached cable gave me issues and making it so only one speaker works unless adjusted just the right way, sound quality is meh, unless you stretch it out for a day or so the headset right out of the box is so tight it'll hurt your head.Overall i hated this headset with a burning passion and was so relieved when i purchased a new one. This headset is worth about 40 bucks and your overpaying if you bought it for $100. The ONLY good thing I'll give this headset is its sturdiness for the frame itself, the cable sucks.

Great headset for price
So this headset is great if you're going to be spending a lot of time chatting with friends and you love the military look for your headset. The headset is apparently of great build quality with a lot of metal parts or heavy-duty plastic.Pros:-Cheap-Heavy duty-High quality-ComfortableCons:-Mic sensitivity seems low out of the box, I had to turn up the sensitivity in Windows-The lows are not fantastic for sound quality

Looks and Feels great but Internal wiring is terrible DONT BUY
So I really like the external feel and construction of this headset, and it has a nice long wire for those of us with greater separation from our PCs. That is is the good news. The bad news is that I have had 2 of these headsets and both of got down the toilet with the internals. The first one I got always blared audio through the mic input for some reason, and it steadily got worse and worse over a 2 month period until suddenly the right earphone just died. So I got it covered by warranty and thrustmaster replaced it. Alright that's all well and good, but its sadly not the end of my tale of woe.The replacement set similarly blared audio through the Mic input, and the headphones right side would cut out incessantly. I found a quick workaround was to repeatedly unplug and replug the audio jack into the input output splitter over and over again until it worked. That is until today, when the mic cut out, and will not come back no matter how many times I unplug and replug, oh and the right headphone is also now permanently dead. This whole headset has been nothing but a pain in my life for the last year! Do yourself a favor and do NOT buy this headset. This was a real shocker for me, because I generally love Thrustmaster, I have their warthog HOTAS it is fantastic, but for whatever reason this headset is just plain terrible and does not live up to the quality I expect of much worse brands.

Is not an audiophile headphone but does work well for the sim MSFS it also has a good noise block.

Good build quality, audio quality, and comfort. Dubious microphone
Comfortable cushions on the headband and thick foam padding around the ears are very comfortable although I have noticed the ear space is a little small as my ears have been sore for wearing them for an extended amount of time. The build quality is really high quality, it is very sturdy have had it for a while and the only thing damaged was the foam around the microphone. The audio quality is better than my previous mic, I feel I am able to hear more sound in games and music sounds better than a run-of-the-mill headset. The controls are very nice and practical, I can lower the volume of the headphones with a turn of a knob no need to change computer volume. However my ongoing problem with the headset is the microphone. The microphone is built sturdy, but people that I chat with have told my my mic makes loud static noises if I touch the mic when it moves. I think this is the product of the mic being adjustable and foldable. It can rotate an the movement possibly makes the connection weak and it's frustrating because everything about this mic is good but it will be making noises to people in a chat when I'm not even touching the mic. I'm known as the guy with the noisy mic now.
