ShowTime Piano Jazz & Blues - Level 2A Paperback – January 1, 1993

I love this and the other Piano books in this Showtime Piano series. They each contain a nice selection of songs and a great arrangement for my skill level. I am retired and started taking piano lessons two years ago. My piano teacher recommended these books.

The song choices in Fabre books has encouraged my kid to try new skills and advance faster. Our music teacher uses almost exclusively this system, and the concert was fantastic for both the display of growth and the song choices!

We are so excited these new Jazz and Blues books are finally out! We have waited for a long time! One of the things we love about Faber is being able to buy the different music genres in these skill leveled books. They are fabulous! We are very pleased with them. The Jazz and Blues genre is fun! The songs are really easy in this book, and quickly get you used to accidentals. You really cannot beat the price on these little song books. If you love Jazz, you will love this. If you are not so much into Jazz...you may be after playing through this book!

My students of the 1990 through my students in the 2000 teens all light up with smiles and bounces as they learn these jazz pieces spanning the past 100 years. The composition and style adheres to Faber and Faber's easy to learn methods.

I really enjoy the Faber series of piano books, but I am giving this only 4 stars because the songs are not the most recognizable nor challenging to play.

This is a great collection of blues/jazz the students will enjoy learning and playing. A good introduction to this musical style.

Love this book, I use it all the time for my intermediate piano students.
