WoprolightSklamp POA-LMP135 / POA-LMP114 / 610-336-5404 Replacement Lamp Bulb with Housing for Sanyo PLV-Z2000,PLV-1080HD Projectors

When I purchased the projector I was given a new spare Sanyo brand lamp. The stock bulb died after 200 hours, so I replaced with the spare. The spare lasted less that 300 hours and exploded with NO warning. I was concerned the project was damaged from he bulb exploding so I didn't want to spend $200-$250 on a lamp. I found this one and replaced it. It lasted Over 1200 hours and then started to get more and more Dim over the last 50 hours. I re-ordered the same bulb and replaced it. Simple 3 minute job. It looks as good as the $250 Sanyo Bulb and its easy to change.

It's a cheap replacement bulb. Mine was either pulled from a projector with ~500 hours of time on it, or it was manufactured to low standards. There are discolored patches all in the middle, fading to cyan, and a pronounced brown blob in the bottom left corner.I've gone through several new bulbs (the kind you pay 200-300 USD for) and you typically don't start seeing these defects manifest for ~500-750 hours of usage. All these sub-100 USD bulbs I've gotten come with immediately visible defects. And they may not last long -- usually a year of normal usage at best. Just understand that before you jump in.

I was going to wait for this bulb to blow before reviewing it, but it has performed so much better than any other, I figured I might as well give it the thumbs up now. I just hope that the source of these lamps is consistent so that if I order another one from this SKU, I'll get the same brand... (this one is already over 1300 hours where most have blown around 300 or so)

Works great for Sanyo 1080HD projector. Out of the box, lamp is brighter than others I've purchased in the past.

Saved me from a new $700 projector. Worked perfectly for my old Sanyo projector. Even came with a mini-screwdriver.

The bulb worked for less than one hour when turned on, I bought another one and it has the same issue
