It's a book, there isn't much that can be wrong with it. I have the first manual, so I knew what to expect from this one. If you like part 1, you'll like part 2.

Best price for an overpriced yet required book

Although publicized as "used". this one was crumpled and very used. Not worth the price nor the effort to return. Not worth the company's name.

The two activities manuals are indispensable companions to the main books, but of course they are not standalone books....Only criticism I'd make is the pinyin exercises which are done with the CD, which one cannot find easily, so half of the lessons are blank in my case....I even wonder if this section could be just left out of the activity book and integrated to the main book by including a CD with it, avoiding to buy the CD separately, when one can find it.... Personnaly I'd leave the activity book exclusively for character and phrase structure learning.
