This is a great supplement if you struggle with anemia like I do. It works. I still take the liver for the b and a vitamins, but they just dont have enough iron.I can't eat red meat often enough to fix my anemia and plant foods do not cut it. I tried curing anemia with plants. I took two tbsp of blackstrap molasses a day (so nasty) for over a year, along with tons of peanut butter, lentis, spinach, etc. It didn't do anything for my symptoms.For the last 3 months I've taken 3 of these and 3 freeze dried liver capsules a day. My insomnia has improved, my cycle is easier to deal with, my anxiety is almost non existent, and so many other things have improved. It's worth the money.

Lighter in color than the other brand. I probably prefer the other brand. This one is lighter and I'm not sure it works as well as the other brand. I bought this brand to save the $10 and to try it out. Light yellow color. The other brand is a dark brown color. Update: I'll upgrade and give it 1 star more due to some reasons. Only thing that concerns me is how my lipid panel results will look. I gotta see if this stuff raises blood cholesterol, and other negative effects on lipids. I'll find out in March.

I can't see how this product is real. The colour is white, the smell is sweet. I've bought organ meats from at least 3 manufacturers, and every one of them has smelled like the actual organ, and had a similar colour. And even if you accept the manufacturer's explanation on this page, that there is a rice cellulose filler (though they also say there are no fillers - something's wrong there too), it should only be a tiny amount - these capsules are designed to carry about 400-600 mg of most powders and the manufacturer claims there are 500 mg of spleen per capsule, so there is not much room for filler, but there aren't even brown speckles among the white powder

I normally buy a more expensive brand I thought I'd try to save myself some money and try this product. I can't really say I've noticed any difference in the performance of the product. But the smell and taste are bad enough, I'm going to spend a little bit of extra money and go back to what I was buying before. I don't have a weak stomach and smells don't bother me but this smells and tastes like plastic liver soap?? No thanks

I'm trying to be more conscious of my health as I get older and I've been anemic all my life. I've taken iron supplements in the past but didn't like the side effects (like constipation) or they weren't effective. I have a myriad of symptoms of anemia, but the most visible were my nail beds. They were always pale and a little blueish and curved.After some research on the best iron supplements I read that heme iron was the most bio-available and best absorbed form of iron, so off I went to Amazon to find a supplement. I found several brands that were out of my price range (sorry, I'm can't spend $60 a month for heme iron supplements) and found this one after clicking on a few related item links. At around $30, I figured it was within the price range I could afford, so I placed an order. Just over 3 weeks later and I realized today that my nail beds are now pink and healthy looking. I feel better (not as tired all the time) and I really feel that this supplement has helped a great deal and I will definitely be ordering regularly.

These pills are amazing! They brought my iron levels back up. I have more energy, my digestive issues have improved. Helps with muscle soreness too. This product is terrific and I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a premium source of bioavailable iron.

Slightly larger than average capsules, but easy to swallow with water. Seems like a quality product - in the month since I've been taking these (with no incredible difference in my normal routine or diet), I feel my digestive health has been quite regular and I haven't gotten sick. Seems to be doing as advertised, and I'll update if anything notable changes.
