Convenient and warm
Last year, the power went out twice during the winter for more than 8 hours. When looking for ways to stay more comfortable through similar events, I found this. So far, this has reduced the need for heating and kept me more comfortable. At 30°F, an electric heating pad with auto shut off and normal blankets was enough to stay warm all night, without turning on the heat. When the power goes out this winter, I expect to stay comfortable with this and a couple of nice blankets. It took some time to set up alone. I’ve never set up a tent or anything like this before. I read the instructions and found the poles fussy, but it wasn’t difficult to set up. I haven’t taken it apart for storage yet, I’ve just flattened it somewhat to put aside when cleaning. Make sure you put it together somewhere you can lay the poles flat, like in a hallway. It is easy to remove to change bedding. I wipe the tent off with a damp cloth when changing bedding and open it to air it each day. The dog is used to hopping into bed at the foot of the bed, so I leave a corner of the zipper at the foot of the bed open and call it the doggie door. The dog loves being in the tent. The tent poles aren’t super sturdy, but as long as you aren’t using this in wind and weather, and you are careful not to put weight on it, this bed tent should last. If you aren’t bothered by enclosed spaces, this can help you lower your heating bills or get through power outages a bit more comfortably. The tent fabric does not darken lights, but does slightly diffuse external light. It would be a great semi-private area for guests in your living room over the holidays, as long as you cover the annoying blinking lights on your router and entertainment center, and remind them not to grab the tent poles to stand up.

My essential winter item
I've been using it for 2 years without any problems or tears. I'm very satisfied. It's become a winter essential in my cold house. The decorative lights that came with it are also very useful and pretty.

Excellent bed tent! Checks all the boxes!
I was very very picky when picking out a bed tent for my son. I looked at many tents and read reviews on all of them. I eventually decided on this one. Below is a list of the things that I was looking for:1. It had to be able to fit over the mattress. Many other bed tents require you to build the tent and then place the mattress inside of it afterward. Since my son's bed is a loft bed, I can't easily remove/replace the mattress. With this tent, you simply build it and then slide it over the mattress. Easy! It fit perfectly!!2. It had to be tall enough to sit up in. I found that many children's bed tents are small. At best, a child can maybe sit up in the center of the bed but then the top slopes downward. This tent is plenty tall enough for even me to sit up in... even if I sit at the end of the bed!3. Temperature. With all the windows/doors closed, it stays very warm! But don't worry about getting too hot either because there are doors on both long sides and a window on the short side. Plenty of choices for ventilation.I didn't use the included lights so I can't comment on them. However, my son has a bunch of key chain stuffed animals and he hung them all up on the hooks inside. It was really fun and made a great play area!It is not hard to set up or take down. I'm glad set-up is easy because I put the tent up for about a week, take it down, then put it up again a month later. The poles are quite long which could be a little tough if setting it up in a small space.I'm extremely please with this tent! I think you will be too. :)

Meets expectations and very loved by my kids.
I have two ten year olds who REALLY love these tents. They were easy to put together, aren't bulky or heavy, and adding the string lights really upped the wow factor for them (and myself)! We've had these for a little while now and they are still up and sturdy. One has a pink one and the other has a black one. In hindsight, I think I would have opted for another light color instead of black but that's a personal preference. It's just so dark and due to it being a centerpiece in the room, it seems a bit too much.Definitely recommend!

Great product—don’t hesitate!
I find this bed tent to be quite well made. Zippers on all sides make it flexible for light or privacy as preferred. I purchased one for each of my granddaughters, ages 14 and 11, so they would be able to share a room but still have some privacy when they wanted it.Assembly instructions were found online by using a QR code. I had to pay attention and watch 2-3 times, but it was pretty straightforward. The tent is meant to snug up against the corners of the mattress by means of a Velcro strap, but it works much better if there is a solid base under the mattress for the ends of the tent poles to rest on. I was using a futon and sleeper sofa, and one end of the tent kept slipping down onto the floor, making it crooked, but it still worked. It’s fairly easy to take down and fold up so it fits in the provided storage bag. Overall, I would say this is a good product at a good value.

Great for camping themed bedroom
We bought these tents for our boy's camping-themed bedroom. We have had them about a month. My elementary aged boys and 85 pound dogs sleep in them and so far no signs of wear. They seem to be good quality. They were very easy to put together and set up. They come with a removable pocket for storage (pictured with a football stick in it), and they also came with clips for included battery-operated "fairy" lights (batteries not included), which we haven't used yet (see photo). There is also a storage bag. My kids find it easy to open and close the tent as well. I think the price is reasonable for the quality. I don't know about the light-blocking function; we just bought them for the design.

So darling; quality is good for price point.
Had a tear or two in the seams that connected to the bed. Impressive price point for what you get. Zippers were great quality and design is so so cute.My girls used these for a good part of the year until they got sick of them.

DOES NOT GLOW IN THE DARK
This tent for my son's bed does not glow in the dark as it is advertised. Not even a little bit. My son was very disappointed by this. He likes the tent but a year later he still randomly mentions that he wished it glowed like it's supposed to.
