For a while, at my work-from-home job, I was working 14-hour shifts, and already had mild lower back and mild occasional hemorrhoid problems before the long hours. After weeks of sitting in a chair all night, my back and bum almost caused me to stop working completely! I could barely stand it! Looking to save my health, I searched for standing desks which I had heard of for years. Although I usually am frugal and try to buy the cheapest thing that will do the job, I am so glad I paid more and was able to get what I needed to solve the problems. I realized it was better to get an automated desk instead of saving a few bucks for a manual one. When you only have a minute between clients, and you are tired of standing, this desk needs only seconds, at the touch of a button, to move. Although it appears to have 4 different settings you can save, I haven't bothered, because its SO EASY to push the up or down button to get the desk exactly where you want it.I use a thick cushioned pad, designed for this purpose, for standing for long periods.The desk is extremely strong and sturdy. The bamboo top is beautiful and feels so smooth. I got the 42"x 24". I was afraid it would be too small and therefore less useful than my old desk. Not at all! It is the perfect size. Even the legs are adjustable in case you have an uneven floor, for example.Another advantage of this desk: It freed up more space in my office/bedroom. The design is so streamlined.A third advantage that no one else will mention: when you DO sit, at the desk, barefoot, the feet on the legs make the best foot massagers, ever, after you are tired of standing. And of course there is plenty of room underneath for a small table or whatnot, to elevate your legs when you do sit.Being an obese, mature woman, I have surprised myself with being able to stand at the desk for three hours at a time. It keeps me energetic and awake, and bypasses the health problems mentioned earlier.I was about to buy an expensive ergonomic chair as well, but have found it is no longer necessary! With much less time in a chair, I can use regular chairs with no problems now.

I like this really desk. I seriously like it a lot, so much so, I’d say it’s changed how I work for the better.Originally I had some trouble with the digital height display. It routinely failed and the whole desk system has to be reset for it to work again, each time losing custom settings etc. Super annoying. I put up with it for a long time, power cycling, resetting, failing, repeat etc. I finally got some time to reach out to support, as there was virtually no instructions about this online that I could find.It took a lot longer that I’d expect to get a response from support. Email didn’t seem to get much of a response after nearly a week. Reaching out to support via Amazon however worked well. Pretty quick really.Within a day I was sent, without request, via over night express, both a new controller and display. That was pretty impressive. I replaced them both and it hasn’t failed since! Replacing them was trivial, no needing to disassemble the desk, and now easily over a week of solid operation!I’m a tall guy, over 6’2”. What impresses me apart from the finish is that this desk is super stable. I can lean against it without worrying it will tip over. It doesn’t wobble either. I also have a 43” LG 4K display on it, and these suckers aren’t light either.As soon as we need another desk in the house, I’ll be looking at another one of these.

The media could not be loaded.  Very sturdy and it goes very low. it is soooo heavy and sturdy. Works great. Real bamboo top. And legs are really heavy. It took 2 hours to install. But worth it. I wish they were cheaper.Update:Using it more than 7 months now. Very satisfied with the quality. I myself like the table to be high, my husband likes it to be low. So with this table we can fulfill both our needs. I work on it when he is at his office. The table itself is really, really heavy. One leg weighs around 20 pounds I think. I can't lift it alone. The top board is so strong that we were not able to screw the nail in. Recently we bought a power drill, we will try drilling the nail in. You need to attach the operating part to the table with screws.We selected this table because it can go very low, since our height is not that tall.It says "I am not so rich to buy cheap things". When you buy cheap things, they will be lower quality as a result you will keep on buying again and again. Where as this one is very costly. I think along with tax we paid around $600 but we are hoping it will serve us for more than 10 years.While cleaning the carpet around this table I just put the table up very high and easily clean the area. Till now it didn't bend or shake too much.

There was an issue with delivery, only got 2 of 3 boxes on Friday and thought somehow my order was messed up, especially since the boxes received day 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. Received the 3rd box Monday afternoon - think this was an error on the delivery service, but was freaked out on Friday because you can purchase without a desktop, but I knew I ordered a full desk.Anyways, set up the desk last night by watching the instruction video and reading provided instructions. Relatively simple, had to rewatch a couple steps to make sure we understood correctly. My desk is up and running. Loving how well it's working so far. Recommend this desk to anyone looking for something similar.
