Duracell Industrial battery LR6 AA(Pack of 10)

arrived quickly well packed and as described - no -damage - no hassles.reasonable value for money.I have no prior experience of Procell batteries so I look forward to charting their stamina versus some others I've got. To be honest at the moment I'm really only going on the Duracell name.If it lives up to expectations they should last a while and at the price prove to be very good value money. At a little over 3 quid for 10 it makes them good value anyway especially when I paid eight quid for the 'ultimate longest lasting ever batteries in the in world' I think the only thing missing was 'honest guv' 8 quid for 4 batteries - to be fair they are still hammering away. but by my reckoning these have only got last about 16% as long.At the moment loving them - anything changes I'll update this.ACID TEST: would I buy again - so far - yes.

Appear genuine, long lasting, perfect for clocks, remotes, torches etc. Recommend

I have recently bought these batteries and so far am very happy with the performance. Duracell is of course a good name in batteries which is why I went for them. For some reason they are cheaper than the ones with the copper colour top, but so far they are performing as well as them.

Duracell Procell Battery Alkaline 1.5V AA Ref MN1500 Pack 10I have used these batteries in preference to the more widely available branded version for several years and have never had a problem. I use them in TV remote controls, a wireless doorbell and several torches and they seem to last just as long as the 'gold and black' version. It's worth noting that they come boxed, rather than blister packed, so it is advisable to have a battery case (or cases) in which to store them.Previously I have bought online from a non-Amazon supplier but this order was fulfilled by 'memorycapital' through Amazon at a very competitive price, especially when the shipping charge is taken into account. Overall, no complaints.

I try to avoid writing reviews for items which appear run of the mill and common. So these would have gone un-reviewed but for a a breaking cheese grater. Something went wrong inside the grater and it suddenly stopped. I thought it was the batteries but no they were fine. However, they were also red hot when I took the out to check having not noticed the grinder had stopped for a good five minutes.I assumed they would be dead having obviously suffered a short circuit in the grater's mechanism. I checked them just in case and they were fine still showing a high usable rate of charge.Do they get my vote? yes of course - and they were cheaper than the other standard Duracell choices.Updated 16 Feb 2013.A caution. Having as I said found the charge holding on the batteries I re-used them in a mouse and today I found they have been leaking electrolyte. I am certain this this was caused by the previous over use with the defunct cheese grinder. So if they do get abused I suggest re-using them with caution.They also seem to be slightly longer than standard batteries? I checked using a plastic Vernier device and they are longer so if your standard Duracell batteries fit tight be warned of these extra length.

This product is relying on the good name of Duracell to give confidence to buyers who may see these Procell batteries as a good buy at a lesser price. I have purchased AA & AAA size and found that they seemed to fail sooner than I would have expected from the Duracell brand. A set of 4 branded "copper tops" will maintain the station tuning menu in my radio for up to a year. Alas,a set of 4 Procell could only manage about 4 months. And when I put a volt meter on those left in the box waiting to be used, I found variations in the output that I would not normally expect in the same batch. Quality control is lacking and letting the Pink Bunny down!

I use them mainly in my Apple Trackpad and in my bathroom radio. I get so many more hours of use from these than normal Duracell batteries and the price is phenomenal. Much better than the high street.Hubby also uses these in his bike front lights (the back lights take AAA) and they never let him down and last simply ages, months and months!RECOMMENDED!Nicely packaged in a handy box that closes well and easy to keep in the drawer.

Haven’t used any of them yet but I’m sure they will be great
