Felix Sandbox with Adjustable Roof

Granddaughter put it together with ease and great grandson loves it. But the roof was not as very sturdy.

This is a nice sandbox, instructions were very easy to follow, I used several layers of weed barrier material to help hold the sand in. 8 50lbs bags of playsand filled the box too the bottom of the seat. Granddaughter just loves it!Update July 2022 second year no problems, top up and down took a little time to figure out. Worth the money

It is quite small, even though I had my measuring tape out before buying it, I was still surprised. Like other people said, the directions are remarkably bad - just assume they are trying to trick you before each step, and be extra vigilant. I stapled a few layers of weed cloth to the inside edges to keep weeds out like others suggested. I'm really surprised at how well the roof raises and lowers - with the horrible instructions, I wasn't expecting much. I put in 5x 50 lb bags of sand. My 4 year old loves it and plays in it all the time.

The function to raise and lower the lid to shade is trash. It broke fairly quickly and never worked smoothly. We raise and lower it manually. The bottom feels pretty sturdy in comparison. We've got a 3.5yo and 1yo and it's just big enough for them to play together, but it's pretty small.

My grandbaby loves it. I do wish that the order of the instructions was done a little more different because it was a little difficult to put together, other than that we love it!

THIS THING TOOK ME ALL DAY TO ASSEMBLE! THE DIRECTIONS ARE IN A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE, SO MANY DIFFERENT TOOLS ARE REQUIRED THAT I DID NOT HAVE, AND YOU NEED TO USE DUCT TAPE!!! IT IS IN THE DIRECTIONS TO USE TAPE!! SO EXPENSIVE AND YET SO CHEAPLY MADE!! ONCE IT WAS ALL PUT TOGETHER IT IS SO UNSTURDY IT WAS SWAYING IN THE WIND!! THE LEVER FOR THE ROOF IS SO DIFFICULT TO WIND AND THE PLASTIC PIECE POPS OFF EVERYTIME!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!

This product was easy to put together. Tools needed were a drill with Philips head and a hammer.Perfect for my two year old grand daughter. It takes 4-50lbs bags to fill.

Not happy with this at all. The directions were not in English and had to assemble going by the pics which were not overly helpful. The boards didn't all line up as they weren't cut rhe right lengths (yes, we tried every possible combination of arrangements) the top does not go up and down smoothly at all as the canopy catches on the side beams. There also weren't any pilot holes or markings to where things "should" be. Should come with a mat for the bottom so when the kids dig in the sand, they don't dig up the grass/dirt. We got it up the best we could and my kids are able to play in it, but they could have done just as well with a $40 turtle sandbox. I spent the extra to have a nice sandbox. Walmart products are better than this thing. Don't waste your money on this one.
