Works just as good as the original. Opening to install the batteries on these remotes have always been difficult I would suggest YouTube for a quick video. It’s hard to describe but basically you have to shimmy or pry the side open without braking it at first then slip the back cover off.

Works perfectly and the price is right
This was perfect for me. My old Samsung remote started having problems with some of the buttons. All I had to do was put the batteries in and it worked immediately, no paring needed. The quality is as good as the remote that came with the TV. The price point was low. I'm very happy with this. For reference I have a Samsung model UN55KU630D.

Good value. Lacks some features, but does the important stuff
This is a great value for a backup remote. My 65" Samsung TU-8000 series TV has no external controls, so if the factory remote is damaged/misplaced, I cannot even turn on my TV.This remote lacks the Voice Assistant on the OEM remote, and it lacks the Netflix/Amazon/Whatever shortcut buttons. But it has all of the buttons that you really need to operate the TV, and they all work as they should. The remote is *slightly* different in size than my OEM remote. This did not prevent a silicone cover from fitting nicely.

Replacement for OEM Samsung tv remote
Great replacement for my OEM Samsung remote. The left button on the control wheel of my OEM remote stopped working after years of use so was looking for a good value off brand replacement. This one fits the bill. There are a few minor differences between this one versus the OEM remote The buttons are a little stiffer on this remote but I find this is nicer as it gives a more tactile response to each button push and I expect it to get less stiff with use. The battery cover is also more stiff and tight, but again I find this nicer as after years of use and battery changes on the OEM remote the cover would practically slide off every time I picked it up. This cover is much more secure and also slightly texturized. This remote does not have a little blinky red light when you press a button on the remote, but this doesn’t interfere with the functionality of the remote. The only drawback to not having the blinky light is that when you hold down the power button to soft reset the tv, you don’t know if the tv is receiving the signal to soft reset- so I just keep the OEM remote in a desk drawer on the rare occasion I need to soft reset the tv. Overall, great replacement for the OEM remote for a fraction of the price.

Works great.
Put the batteries in and it instantly worked better than the original ever did.

HOW TO PAIR REMOTE WITH SAMSUNG TV
The instructions included with the remote do not explain how to sync the remote with your TV. (So, it would be easy to think the remote doesn't work after you install the batteries and start pushing the buttons.)I thought I would share how to do this: On most Samsung TVs, the remote control sensor is located on the lower right-hand side of the TV. If not, it is directly in the bottom center. First, point the remote at the sensor. Next, press and hold the Return and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds. Your TV will begin syncing with the Smart Remote. Also, here are some of my observations about the features of the remote: It is not the same color as the OEM, but pretty close and it is missing the SAMSUNG logo on the front. The back of the remote is flat black instead of gloss black which I personally prefer. The back also has a cool design that includes multiple-sized dots that change under different lighting angles.I also like the VOL and CH buttons better than the OEM version as they feel more positive and give you better control of those functions. And of course, the price is one of the best features!I hope this helps.

Perfect right out of the Box!!!
Right out of the Box, i Installed 2 AA (Not Included) Batteries and the Remote functions perfect!!! No programming was Required for Me! The Buttons have a Very Nice Click and Feel when Pressed!! I Actually prefer this Remote over the Original Samsung Remote that came from Factory. So impressed for the $, i just ordered another 1 for the Future. My Samsung TV was made October of 2016, it's a 4K Smart Tv and the Model #UN60KU6300FXZA. All Apps Function Correct, Pause/Play/FF/RW/Etc... I do NOT have a Cable Box, So i do not know about the Function for that.

Good but does not work as a universal remote
This remote seems nice for the price. It paired easily with my old Samsung TV. However, it is not a true BN59-01260A replacement. This remote is not a "smart" remote and will not change the cable channel or certain other functions. Returned to fit a true replacement.
