ZEBRA10 The Sarasa Clip 0.5 mm Blue Black (Japan Import)

This is the absolute best pen I have found for my needs.I write about 4 full pages per day in a standard college-ruled spiral pad.I like the uni-ball vision micro (0.5mm) -- 3.5 / 5. It's great at the beginning, but the ink flow tends to fluctuate between scratchy and bold a bit too often over the life of the pen.As for gel, the uni-ball signo 207/307's (0.5mm) are pretty good -- 4 / 5. Better than the Pilot G-2 (0.5mm) 3.5 / 5 in my opinion, where I find the body to be too wiggly, and kinda squeaky, and the tip starts dragging at the speed I write. (I know -- paper quality is a variable.)I like the standard Zebra Sarasa retractable in black quite a lot -- 4.5 / 5. Only complaint there is the relatively short life: each one lasts me only about 25 pages. Plus it's not available in the blue-black color which I really enjoy.So, this Sarasa Clip I give 5 / 5 because it has the absolute best combination of feel, flow, comfort, and price. The grip is stable and comfortable, considering it's rubber on plastic. The ink flows evenly over the life of the cartridge, only starting to noticeably thin out in over the last page of its life, and dries quickly so almost never smears. The rollerball glides really smoothly, even when writing relatively fast. The only time it can't really keep up is on a long fast single swipe like underlining something a majority of a page-width without any padding sheets behind. Also, it seems like there's a bit more volume of ink in the Clip's cartridge (JF 0.5 (made in Japan)) than in the standard retractable's (JLV 0.5 (made in Mexico)), but I don't have a new one side-by-side to compare. (EDIT: Yes, the JF 0.5 lasts a bit longer; I get about 30 pages compared to the JLV 0.5's 25).My only gripe is that refills are more expensive than brand new ones, and that these pens & refills get no shelf-space at Office Depot, Staples, etc.

While the price is a good value for these pens and I love the pens themselves, I am slightly miffed that they were not straight black pens but rather blue black. When I received them they were labeled black but write in a midnight blue color which isn’t the end of the world but still when you are looking to order a specific color having clarity would be nice

Good pens but disappointed in the color, darker than expected. Would purchase again unless I find something else in the true blue-black ink.

1 pen at this price - I have bought these pens in the past at this price and got 10. Very deceiving, what a ripoff!!!!

Love these pens! Someone left one in my office on accident and I tried it out and fell in love! So glad I found on amazon! Took some time to ship, and the blue is very very Navy. But they do a great job- I write constantly so they come in handy!

My favorite pen.I carry two most of the time, nicely clipped to my shirt.The writing is great, like the black/blue color, and clip is much more functional than most.

It never skips, it writes so buttery, and the blue-black color is absolutely perfect. I don't know what I did before these pens. I go through them so fast though, but I'm glad that I can always buy more if I need them. These pens are comparable to the Pilot G2 gel pens, but I like these slightly better because they are so consistent with their ink flow.

Look no further. Its smooth, clean, crisp and feels great.

サラサを愛用していてインクがすぐになくなるのでまとめ買いしました。安くて助かります。ただこのサラサ、ようやく滑らかに書きやすくなったと思ったらインク切れ、なんとかならないかなぁ
