This pen was late arriving, but I did order it between Christmas and New Year's. It was worth the wait, it's beautiful. Easy to hold, it's well weighted. I don't know what was supposed to arrive in the space of the package cut out for what looks like a little bottle.The nib is somewhat asymmetrical but the tip of the pen is nicely straight and fine pointed. The flutes are as deep as I'd expect and hold a lot more ink than I expected.The ink flows a little fast. With Iroshizuku ink it's too fast and the ink feathers; with thinned out Dr. Ph Martin's iridescent ink it doesn't flow at all and then glops.I'm a novice with writing implements and I'm left-handed. Take that as you will.I wish this pen were a little more evenly fluted, but at this price point it's both functional and gorgeous. Now I have an excuse to buy more inks!

The glass pen set is beautiful! I just love looking at it. The heart shaped rest just makes my heart smile. I like that it came with a small piece of sandpaper should I need to tweak the tip. I look forward to using it.
