Great fun!
I'm a huge fan of dice games. This one popped up on my feed so bought it.Comes with two courses and if you go to website there is another free one with a scorecard.Have to say it's very good and great to play solo.Quality dice in a neat little bag.Love it.It's easy to just do other real world courses on a spread sheet and print off for endless fun.In fact I was so impressed with the game mechanics that I bought the tennis, test cricket, darts and snooker versions aswell. All also very good and great for solo players.Am going to do proper tournaments for each sport.Highly recommend these games if you're into dice games.

Will never replace the real thing but it is good fun to play.
Better than another golf dice game on the market as it brings into play different club selection and potential hazards.

Missing course cards
The dice game arrived in timely fashion but it was supposed to include cards representing the golf course. These cards were missing.

It's an expensive sport!
Purchased for £12.99, and that's the pivotal point of the rating for this game.A key factor is the portability which, at just a little larger than a tea bag, clearly ticks that box.The dice are a decent size and quality, which for a small game, is important, so full marks there too.In terms of the game, this is an update of dice golf games dating back to at least the1940s, with the only addition being the hazard feature and corresponding caddie tips. Nice touch. If you're unfamiliar with the game mechanics, it's quite random and 95% based on the luck of rolling a good distance on your chosen club die.For example, on a par 5, you can hit the green in 2 and then 5 putt. Now, Pocket Sports say the game is about fun and don't claim to have created a pocket golf simulation, so there's no criticism there. (And the scenario above is feasible, especially in my case)!Playing actual golf can be that painful, but a table top game needn't be.However, embrace the random elements of it and you'll enjoy a round. But bearing in mind that there's no visible course, the terminology means it's only likely to appeal to golfers, while the lack of strategy may have limit that appeal for them.On that basis, it feels like a £5 game rather than a £13 one.It says it comes with the Green Moose Valley golf course. This is the 2 cards with hole yardage (one titled The Old UK course and the other Augustus National). That might save you time trying to figure out where the Green Moose course is.At least one review mentioned that there are only 2 courses and yeah, it's not much. But given the nature of the game, you can look up the yardages of any course in the world. Of course playing against a real course will rankle if you roll a hazard where there isn't one.A pretty basic flaw is in the instructions. They're well presented and clear, but incomplete. The nice Pocket Sports people made a YouTube video to help. But that's incomplete too. (But they did get there in the comments). This specifically applies to what to do if you overshoot the hole. You can't overshoot with the putter die, but you can with other clubs. To many it will seem obvious that you should then play back the way until you're within the numbers on the putter die, but then it seems pretty obvious that that should be in the instructions. It is pocket sized and it is fun. I don't think it would appeal to non-golfers (although that's subjective) and isn't substantial enough for golfers (more objective), so while it's handy and fun, it lands in that tricky semi-rough between the fairway and the green, while the price misses the cut by some distance.

Looks fun for a rainy day
This arrived without the course cards and I messaged the seller through Amazon. I received the cards in the post with an apology from the sellers which was very useful and good customer service.I’m not a golfer so I don’t know if this will be a good game or not but my husband who has played golf looked at it and said it looked fun. I’m sure my sister will love it.

Fun
Good game. Really enjoying it.But I think it needs more clubs (dice).I have purchased additional dice and will give them numbers and see how it goes.

Great fun for the solo armchair sportsman
New product that arrived quickly and was in excellent condition and well-packaged. Great sporting solo dice game that should keep the frustrated armchair sportsman happy. Re-playability is high and should be fun for the solo gamer.

No instructions?
This arrived (on time) with no instructions how to play and only two courses? Looking at the various dice I’m not sure how you can play this. Such a pity as our golf crowd were going to play virtual match play whilst in lockdown. Disappointed.
