I've reviewed other carabiner clips like this here on Amazon and what I said for them goes for these, as well.Bottom line, I wouldn't use these where I would feel better with a closed/lock gate system as opposed to this open gate clip system (even if I were well within weight limits). But for hammocks, hanging items, etc. these are really, really nice. I've bought these carabiner clips in various colors, but find I like this black color the most.Reasonable price, nice manufacture. I think these are well worth one's consideration.5 stars.

We bought these to attach light weight items to other things. Water bottles. Towels. To backpacks, golf bags, etc. Seem to be well built, perfect for the job.Obviously these clips are "NOT FOR CLIMBING" they are light weight and seem to be ideal for many other things. Just "NOT FOR CLIMBING". But rock solid for all other light weight connections. Just please don't try to scale Everest or El Capitan with these. Because right on the clip they state "NOT FOR CLIMBING".BUYER BEWARE - these clips are NOT FOR CLIMBING. I should give them only 1 star after my failed Everest summit attempt...

Working as expected they are pretty beefy. The spring back is nice and solid also.Let's see how these hold of to future abuse.

These are very nice, sturdy, well-made carabiners. I've used them for a handful of makeshift attachments (initially purchased to affix my water bottle to my backpack), and have yet to be disappointed. Even better, they're easy to open, and don't require much force - a problem I've found pervasive as someone with chronic pain that also affects my hands!I'd recommend these. I haven't used them in attempts to support anything very heavy (e.g., myself, lol), so I can't comment on that, but for all other intents and purposes, they're stellar!

At first glance these carabiners are impressive- tough and well made. They are very lightweight and have plenty of spring tension for my fishing and backpacking gear. These are little pricey but worth the extra 5 bucks for the quality and heavy duty usage. I haven't fully tried them out yet but feel confident using these and not worrying about having to buy more for awhile. I would purchase again

I got these about a month ago. I'm pretty hard on everything I own. So far, this holds up. I use it to hold my keys and generally carry things. I wish that I had gotten locking ones though, as my keys fall off when I hold it (as opposed to clipping it). However, that is more a personal choice than a negative for this product.

So far, no complaints. Work much better than the standard cheap carabiners with the riveted fulcrum pin and chincy spring.

The aluminum frame and stainless wire gate has a great smooth feeling action. These are real nice stuff in my opinion. I am ordering another set. I used them as positive closing ends on a set of baby ratchet straps.
