Love these. Got a pair for myself and one for my husband to replace some Austrian boiled wool slippers that we loved for many years. Worn with socks these are great, without they tend to slip off my feet and wouldn't recommend doing stairs with them, but overall I am really pleased with my purchase. They appear to be well made. Perfect house slippers for winter.

There's a few things in life that we buy and think, "Wow, that's the best X dollars I've ever spent." This is one of those purchases. I had my Crocs phase, adidas slides, your misc. slippers, or just roam the house in socks. My feet always seem to get cold, even if it isn't winter. I also develop sometimes painful calluses that can be painful to walk around barefoot. There's so many new trendy products, but I just wanted something tried and true. I found these and was enticed when I saw they were made of wool. Instant buy.Initially I though they were too small. I ordered a size up and they were HUGE. I kept wearing the first pair and they do break in and loosen up a little. Mine fit perfect. They keep my feet warm, but not hot. The insole, whatever it is, is SO soft and comfortable. My feet love these. I got the ones with the outsole, not the felt bottom. At first, they were a little stiff and they sounded tacky - like they were picking lint up off the floor. Again, wear them for like 2 days and this goes away. Now I can step into the garage or porch and not worry about hurting the bottoms of them.I can't recommend these enough. They're a tremendous value where everything is more and more expensive - these are very well built and you will be in love with them.

The slippers do run a little small, so size up! Also I got a matching pair for my boyfriend and I. Mine came new with a shoe intent to keep the shape. My boyfriend’s came used, without an insert, squished, and with someone’s hair on the sole of the shoe. There isn’t a markdown that I’ve seen for getting a used shoe, but I think there should be. Which is why I took off a star. Otherwise, nice slippers!

These wool slipper are comfortable and warm. I love them.

My husband has sweaty feet and I wanted to find slippers that would help keep his feet dry. Research said I should invest in wool slippers and when I found these I followed the advice of other reviewers, sizing up. He says they’re comfy and often wears them with socks and his feet stay dry and odor free. The only CON is the bottom is pretty thin so they’re really indoor only - they’re not great if you want to walk outside on the deck or to the mailbox or pull the trash in. You’ll feel every rock beneath your feet.

I've got 2 pair, both a felt sole and a rubber sole. I use the felt sole at home and love it; my feet sweat in other slippers, but the wool of these keeps them dry. I glued another layer of sole to the rubber soles to wear outside while off duty during a deployment. The wear and tear caused small rips to the inner lining; they still work, but clearly weren't designed for the abuse of walking around on gravel. I won't deduct any stars for my ridiculous use-case scenario.

The foot bed is hard and lumpy. Your heel hangs off the edge and it actually feels dangerous like your ankle will turn. Cheap sock like upper. Avoid.

I want to start by saying that I absolutely love the way this shoe feels. It has been the best to walk around in. But I’ve only had it for two weeks and the inside is already ripping. :( I only use it for walking around the house. I was hoping these would last me at least a year, but I think at this rate, I’d be lucky to get six months out of them. Such a shame because they truly feel fantastic.
