Chews like a beaver, aggressive.
I prefer this chain over the low kickback green link chain that cuts slower. This chain is more aggressive (cuts faster) and seems to stay sharp between sharpening. I'm about 5'10", 185+ pounds, athletic, and have been handling a chainsaw for 30 plus years without incident, knock on wood. Consider your strength and skills before using this chain on your saw. Keep a firm grip on the saw and maintain safe/proper body positions.

This chain fits my Stihl 026 chainsaw fine. I like the chain
This chain fits my Stihl 026 chainsaw fine. I like the chain, but be aware that this is NOT an anti-kickback chain. The chain does not have the little extension rib between the teeth which sticks out to rub against the wood being chopped at the tip when the chain goes around the sharp turn at the end. This little extension rib holds the cutting teeth away from the wood and thereby helps to prevent the chain from biting into the wood and kicking the chainsaw up and back at you. This is a good safety feature, but this chain does not have those tooth protecting extension ribs. If you can use a chainsaw well and understand this difference, the chain actually cuts wood much faster since those ribs also limit the depth of the cut while the chain is on the straight/flat cutting surface. Those ribs also need to be filed down as the chain wears but when they aren't there, there is no need for that extra filing/grinding to be done. I like these chains and have never had a problem with them because I have been chainsawing for many years and am careful with where I poke the tip of the chain and my saw has an automatic chain brake which I never work around. Always have both hands on the saw and if it does kick back at all, the chain brake hits my left arm and stops the chain before there is any danger.
