Winsome Burke File Cabinet, Coffee

I was surprised by how nice this looks when assembled. Had my handyman put it together just yesterday but it took him about an hour. Maybe 45 minutes. But it looks so nice. Wish I had measured the space I had first because it's bigger than it looks. But very good looking.

If only the cabinet parts were labeled! You have to match their picture with the part. Even a small label would have helped a lot. Just took all the parts out and am labeling which part it is. I think it will be a lot longer than anticipated. Parts look sturdy but still need labeled.

Clearly states in the description "assembly required". Very easy to assemble. The instruction booklet clearly shows each part and where they go. Will take 20 to 30 minutes to assemble. Everything you need to put it together is included except a philips head screwdriver. To the reviewer who said the file drawer will not close correctly, you have the drawer sides on the wrong side. You must assemble it with the roller wheels on the bottom of the drawer in the rear. I initially assembled it with the wheels in the front. Swapped sides to the other side and works perfect. Most kitchen drawers have the same drawer slides. Look at them and you will see what I mean. Also see the pictures I included in this review. I am rating it 4 stars because the drawer guides for the top drawer were knocked loose during shipping. See the other picture. They have very tiny pin nails holding them. I put 4 small wood screws in them, one in each end and it works as intended.

For what this product cost it should come assembled - or it should have someone come with it to assemble it. At the very least it should have instructions with words. None of the parts are labeled and believe me there are MANY, MANY parts. Nowhere in the description of the produce did it indicate that you would have to assemble the entire thing!. I would NEVER have purchased it if I had known it needed complete assembly. The instructions are four pages, double sided. I could have bought one already assembled for a third of the price. So, unless you like jigsaw puzzles - the ones that are all black for instance, I'd bypass this product. P.S. I was required to select 1 star.

The cabinet looks very nice. Its a little darker than I expected, I expected dark brown but its virtually black. I have not been able to install the file drawer correctly yet so it doesn't slide out well. I'm going to get some help to figure out if its fixable. The rails came installed onto the side panels so I know its nothing I did wrong putting it together.

I wish I would have read the reviews on this before I purchased it. The assembly instructions are horrible! The small drawer falls off its wood track everytime I try to open it. It's awful! It's also WAY too expensive to be such a horrible piece.
