Perfect refill
I was looking for a refill for a vintage powder compact. So much better to refill a metal compact instead of buying disposable plastic ones. This is just the right size and the powder has a nice soft smooth texture. I carry it with me everywhere.

plastic free? not so for the packaging
The product itself is ok, but there isn't much of it and I don't expect it to last more than 2 - 3 weeks. My problem is that 1) it is expensive for the amount and 2) it was shipped in gobs of plastic bubble wrap -- completely missing the point!

Essentially, the compact powder achieves an even complexion without shine thanks to its high capacity to absorb sebum. It keeps the skin soft and velvety. For a mattifying effect, apply the compact powder with the ZAO powder brush. For a covering effect on problem skin, apply the compact powder with a sponge. In both cases, always choose a shade identical to your skin tone and use the product directly after your day cream. For a perfect complexion, after your foundation, apply the compact powder all over your face, choosing a tone below your skin tone. For a natural result, use a powder brush; for a \"babydoll\" result, use a sponge.
