My garage door never stays open due to new building codes, with this dog stopper I can now bring my groceries in without my door slamming shut

I really like this door stopper - it's cute and is a decent weight. The problem we had, is on tile floors the gap under the door and the thickness of this door stopper didn't work. I ended up applying some felt tape to it, to increase the thickness and seems to be doing the trick.

I really like this door stop. It is exactly what I wanted and ordered. I ordered the 5lb one and it is plenty heavy enough to hold our heavy door. I really like the color and design. It was easy to put together only two screws to attach the dog to the slide.

Small but heavy. Serves well to keep my very heavy door open. Would recommended it

Cannot be used on wood floors. I wish the seller would have been clear about that it cant be used on wood floors. It would have saved me time (hours). Buyer Beware: Do not purchase this item if you have wood floors. They say they have different items with rubber underneath but I have not seen that myself, you can fish around or ask them. They also say you can go buy felt and put it on yourself (but I don't know if that would even work, maybe rubber would help, I don't know I am returning it). This is why I gave it 2 stars—— lack of details which could have been included and they could be more up front. If I knew it would slide on wood floors and not hold the door -- I would have never ordered and taken all this time. Item itself is nice and sturdy, but unusable for me. Have a nice day. PS Update - we don't use it as a door stopper but kept it anyway as a cool sturdy iron dog sculpture on the floor, tucked away under a book shelf (kind of). So for a piece of sculpture/art it works for us, so I have updated to 3 stars for the cute factor, but we do not use as stopper on wood floors. I imagine you can get potentially get backing for it or build it up with something underneath that could stop it from sliding if you wanted and you can experiment with that or ask them or others who have had success with that.

I like this doorstopper. It does slide a little as others have stated, but it stops at a point that's acceptable. Granted, it's used to hold open a pantry door that is light, so heavy doors may present an issue. On the flip side, our hardwood floors are brand new and slippery so that may contribute to the sliding.The size of the item is larger than I expected, but I guess I should have paid more attention to the size details in the description. Overall I do like it and we are a dog friendly home so it's appropriate.

Beautiful and cute. Strong door stop ~ our lab is easily scared when the doors slam when it's windy! We would love one for every door.
