These are great dishes -- However Le Creuset does NOT have 9.75 inch pasta bowl. 8.5 inches/22CMWe have used these for multiple items baked in the oven: Beef Enchiladas, Chicken Enchiladas, various Pasta dishes -- All with Cheese. Heavy and hold heat well to keep your dish warm while you eat. They make a great salad bowl. White is very pretty.Clean up, even with baked on cheese is easy - just soak in warm water for a bit.

These are heavy pieces that look great and are just the right size. Being thicker they are also easier to handle when hot food is placed in them. For me they were worth the price knowing they would last.

Finally - a dish especially suited to pasta that retains heat from start to finish when dining. (Dish pre-heated in oven at 150-200F is ideal).Visual appearance of dish is excellent, especially when under-plating with a white dish (such as Corian).Price for four dishes is appreciable, but the plates accomplish the underlying intent - retaining heat. No other dish, insulating matt, tile piece, or combination of, tried previously could accomplish the retain-heat objective without becoming far too complicated and clumsy.Value, as value always is, it is a two-edge sword. Often, but not always, "you get what you pay for!" These are worth it. They should last forever.Physical weight might be considered a negative aspect. Stacked in a kitchen cabinet the weight is substantial and requires a firm grip to remove one plate at a time... ill-advised for someone with weak hands or arthritic fingers. Cerise color as ordered elegantly presents the pasta within.

I love Le Crueset's color options. Cerise is particularly lovely. The bowls are heavy and beautifully designed.

I use Le Creuset dishes,, meaning plates, bowls, pasta bowls, spoon rests, salad plates, serving bowls, etc, and use them exclusively. Even though I own dishes that are more expensive, etc., these are my "go to" dishes. They don't heat up as hot in the microwave, they wash up in the dishwasher great, the plain white pattern goes with my other colorful serving dishes, and they are very durable. My family clacks and slams them around and not even a chip, or a crack/glaze crack, no knife cuts, nothing. These dishes are absolutely great and worth every cent. I'm thinking of sending sets to my children for the holidays this year. Even my husband likes them and that's saying something.

Beautiful bowls. A good weight to them. They can function as a plate or a shallow dish. The size is good especially if you are trying portion control. The color is also beautiful deep dark red with a hit of ombré.Worth the money.

After decades with some older dishes, I decided to indulge in a new set. I bought these, in addition to the regular Le Creuset bowls, dinner plates and salad plates too. But these? They're the stars! Big and thick, and perfect for pasta, vegetables, chili, stew, you name it! Beautiful red color, Cerise as they call it, which is French for cherry. They are gorgeous. Now - about the seller - Big Kitchens is the best! You see, one of the four bowls arrived broken. The seller replaced it instantly, with excellent communication. Wow. I was so impressed, I'm buying another set. Great seller, great product, great experience. Thank you!
