Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch Lotion SPF 50 Sunscreen-8 oz

Hawaiian tropic brand is my favorite and this version at spf 15. The scent is tropical, top note is coconut - then lightly tropical/floral. It works well and reliably in my experience. The tube for dispensing is handy, as it rests on the lid, so it comes out easily. It goes on easily, absorbs quickly. Not sure why this review was rejected? Not a single thing wrong with it. Be sure to use it up! Suntan lotion does actually expire. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. This 2 pack is such a deal for $15.99, they're $10 for one bottle at the local retail store. I've been using this type of Hawaiian Tropic SPF 50 sunscreen for years and I love it. The coconut scent smells amazing and it glides on smooth and absorbs quickly. You end up getting a nice tan over the course of the summer and NO sunburn when using this. I have used it for at least 8 years every summer and have never gotten sunburn while using it. The expiration dates were two years out so this has longevity. It's not really greasy feeling while it's on and works so much better than the spray on variety.I do suggest that you apply this before heading to the beach or pool because you'll need to wash your hands afterwards and reapply every 90 minutes as needed. This formula even has sparkly glitter in it to give you a glow. The glitter doesn't shed or isn't difficult to wash off in the shower. Highly recommended for optimum coverage and great scent.

Grew up using a different version of Hawaiian Tropic, only we didn’t call it sunscreen then, we called it suntan lotion. :) Might as well have been baby oil, but man, did it bronze a body good. Well, older and wiser - I guess - I switched to sunscreen many years ago. All the sweatproof, sport, non-greasy marketing claims of other sunscreens were basically false, so thought I’d see if Hawaiian Tropic could actually protect me, instead of rotisserie me. Glad I gave it a chance. Not only does this work, it smells great (coconut), and truly does feel more like a lotion than a sunscreen. Haven’t had it run into my eyes once yet - knock wood. And the price is right too.

Has only a slight odor and absorbs into skin well.There is no sticky sunscreen feel.

I bought this after reading a review from a magazine that rated sunscreens from a skincare perspective. I found it sufficient but maybe not all I'd hoped for. I am an avid gardener and am in the sun a lot but I have melasma that I treat with retinol so a good sunscreen is vital. Coverage feels a little sheer, and I find myself reapplying frequently, but it seems to work well. It goes on smoothly like lotion and once absorbed there is no white cast, it feels moisturizing, not chalky, but can have a bit of a stickiness. Overall, it's sufficient for body sunscreen, but for my face I also use a mineral sunscreen (Sun Bum) for additional coverage.

The after sun lotion makes your skin feel amazing. Soft & hydrated!It is not for sun burns !

Love the scent. Have used other spf- assume this will be as good

It is a great product. Very harsh on the eyes though so avoid the eyes when applying to skin
