Jolly Dictionary: In Print Letters (American English edition) (Jolly Grammer) Paperback – August 1, 2003

My 3rd grader has been on jolly phonics since preschool. I love the jolly phonics program. The only issue is we are working on finding words in the dictionary and I have three different children dictionary's and A lot of words weren't in them(words that should be in a dictionary) This is a must buy. Every word in the jolly phonics program is in it and it saves a lot of time of frustration.

Excellent for teachers and students. It is very colourful and has lots of information. Besides that, it is very easy to use. You can also identify the tricky words easily.

It is just great for young readers as a first dictionary. The four colours to group letters of the alphabet is also hint to help them searching for words easier and faster, avoiding discouragement.

I love Jolly Phonics, great for home use as well, nothing better than this. Colourful and great for a first time shot at using a dictionary

It is a very easy book for young children to use, especially for those familiar with the characters of the Jolly Phonics series. the layout and colour coded pages help a lot. The meanings to words are very easy and clear for children to grasp. My few disappointments with the are the spelling is for American English whereas I needed a British version for the where I reside we use standard British spelling and I think it should have more words, cannot give examples now but when my daughter asked about some simple words it wasn't in dictionary. My child is almost seven years and is quite happy to be able to use a dictionary. Dictionary was bought for personal use for when she's reading story books and not as an aide for the classroom. So we don't mind, it is easy enough for me to correct her school work spelling. Even though the book was listed as used it was in excellent condition, almost new, if I didn't see the school library stamp I would not have known the book was a used item.

This is a very good book to have at home if you have kids uo to 10 years old. Very good and easy for learning words.
