When taking out the ribbon guide, do it from the right side like the youtube video shows.Kind of just pull it towards you with a screwdriver. I know the videos are'n't clear.Don't pull the wires of the connectors. You can use a small screwdriver and pry the connectors apart.Take your time

pretty simple install took about 6 minutes (2 minutes to find the flying springs springs). 6 year old thermal zebra gx430t working like brand new again. The old print head had several dead spots so the printing looked streaky and barcodes would not scan. Everything is good now.
