SAKURA COLOR PROD AMERICA Gel Ink Pens (SAK37819)

I bought this for highlights in my adult coloring books. At first it worked great. The 2nd day it started to work then suddenly nothing. I tried to get it going as it still had plenty of ink showing. What got it working again was when I drew it across a cardboard box. I think there may have been a slight clot in the tip and the coarseness of the box broke it loose. That's how it seemed though as the next time it wouldn't flow the box did the trick again. Not sure if the paper I used it on caused it or if it's just a fluke with the pen, but I was very happy to find the trick to make it work after being frustrated when I thought I was going to have to contact the seller about a faulty pen. When it works, it does great. The fine lines go on smooth and white, right where you put them. I'm still looking to find other white fine-line pens to use in my books that I like better, but this one is good for now. Shipping and packaging were excellent.

I bought this for adding white highlights to artwork. It's fairly decent, but not as good or with as smooth of an ink flow like a Signo. This goes on top of colored pencil ok, as well as watercolor, but still not as smooth as a Uni Signo. This pen did NOT go over oil pastel very well.... Signo was again better, but a paint pen like POSCA is better for oil pastel.

Haven't yet had the opportunity to use this pen, but it worked when I tested it. If it works for my purposes, I will continue to order as it's at a competitive price here on Amazon.

Amazing pen for stars or white spots in a eye if your drawing or just highlights great for artists

I was trying to find a good, fine tip, white pen for my artwork. This one is ok but not great. Instead, I love the Sharpie white Posterpaint pen with a fine point or extra fine. Most of all, I am disappointed with the prices for pens on Amazon. If you are an Artist, you need to be aware of JetPens.com. In some cases, I paid $13 for japanese brush pens on Amazon that I later found for $3.30 on Jet Pens. Just sayin'.

I bought the Gelly Roll White Pen specifically to make highlights on my adult coloring projects for my blog, Adult Coloring 101, and I have not been disappointed one bit! The pen lays down nice, even and bright dots to highlight eyes and water droplets. I also use it make texture-y lines on more abstract designs and love that the ink lays down without scratching.

Estupendo para pintar sobre todo tipo de papeles, en cartulina negra queda perfecto. El tono es muy blanco y la tinta suficientemente espesa. Incluso lo he usado para pintar sobre fieltro (aunque obviamente, no da los mejores resultados porque no está pensado para eso)También puedes usarlo para tapar algunos errores de bolígrafo en papeles claros, o para aplicar destellos o iluminaciones en ilustración. Segundo bolígrafo de tinta blanca que uso y es el mejor que he probado. Desprende perfectamente la tinta, pudiendo hacer detalles en forma de puntos para los poros de la piel. Probados sobre el grafito y sobre lapices de color Prismacolor premiere, ambos con un resultado mas que satisfactorio.Compra muy recomendada

Je suis un peu déçu, j'utilise habituellement le uniball signo, mais il a tendance à bloquer et l'encre coule parfois difficilement. J'ai donc décidé d'essayer celui ci en me fiant aux commentaires. Certe il ne bloque pas et glisse mieux sur le papier mais son pouvoir convrant est vraiment moyen. Je l'utilise pour apporter des touches de lumière à mes dessins, part dessus des crayons de couleurs ou des markers à alcool, malheuresement le resultat n'est jamais blanc et il laisse entrevoir la couleur a travers.
