Ergonomic Irish Blackthorn Handle Cane

My husband loves it and receives compliments every time he’s out and about.

Really looks good and is lightweight. Read several reviews where the gold ring came off. I don't know how anyone can get the gold ring off the cane. Must have taken them sometime with a screw driver and hammer? Gorgeous cane and well worth the money. So much better than the old metal canes. Takes just a second to size it by using a hacksaw on the end. I had to remove 1 1/2 inches off the tip. The rubber tip covers any new saw cut marks on the tip. Comfortable and sturdy.

Unfortunately this arrived with a gouge out of the top of the handle. It was in the undamaged box and the bag inside of that was not opened. I haven’t gotten a response about a replacement so it will be returned.

It is a nice-looking cane; however, the price could have been better. I think it is overpriced for the quality one is getting in this cane.

I bought this cane for working in the yard, which I do, but it is so nice I can carry it to any occasion. It's sturdy, well- made, the wider than normal handle gives a good grip, and the natural beech wood handle is gorgeous. Very pleased, and I have a lot of walking sticks to compare it to.

My husband required the use of a cane after an unfortunate accident. He did not want your typical metal cane. This cane is very unique and looks like it cost much more than he actually paid for it. It is so very nice. He ALWAYS receives compliments when we're out.Of note: It is very important to measure the correct length and have it cut professionally if unable to do so yourself. The rubber bottom tip is not your standard type but are very easy to find. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

The band around the top is cheap and fell off within a week. The nail holding it in sprang off into the carpet so I'm sure I'll find it with my bare feet at some point in the near future. There's also a coating on the cane that scuffs very easily and turns white. It's very sturdy though and would probably do fine to beat someone's head in or to point at menacingly children on your lawn while screaming old man curses.

This cane has a very uneven surface and is way too lightweight and slender to have any faith in it’s ability to support more than maybe 150 pounds at most. The collar of the cane is a flimsy metal which looks like brass and is a similar thickness of a soda can and in reality bends under negligible pressure and is secured by a small craft nail and shifts around on the cane which is quite annoying. This seems like a stage prop and not actually for real life use. Please get something more substantial. I could imagine this breaking way more easily than advertised and wouldn’t want anyone to be injured.
