Ok for low power laptops Your call
The cable is to short, not reversible, good concept lack of heat dissipation caldigit, HP or dell are better and what I bought instead they work with Mac out of the box but alway use the original power supply for the Mac otherswise if you use multiple displays they will disconnect after a few hours and won’t come back on unless you reboot because the Mac does not have enough power so again plug in your macs original power supply I also would have thought this is the same for pc laptops

Not enough thunderbolt ports
Sadly only one port for thunderbolt. I can't use a charger and my thunderbolt hard drive at the same time.
