PILOTG2 Premium Gel Roller Pens, Bold Point 1 mm, Pack of 4, Assorted Colors

Found one of these in a wrecking yard a few years ago all buggered up. But when I tried writing with it, oh my God, it was so SMOOTH!It has just the right sized barrel and a nice silicone band that is soft and not slippery to hold onto. It does not look like a $25.00 pen but an inexpensive writing implement. But, it is for work or pleasure and just fun to write with.The biggest decision you will have to make is whether to use a medium or a broad point (or finer). Following the name of the pen on the pocket clip is a number. The number on the "BOLD" or broad line pen is the number 10. This is my preference but I am not writing a book.The medium point is marked 07 and writes with a finer line. The pen is also available in Fine and Extra Fine - great for a book-keeper or someone making fine notes.I assume that the 10 on the "Bold" stand for 1 mm. width. Logically, the 07 would stand for 0.7 mm on the finer and Medium point.Please also note that all the fillers are marked with the size of the point on the filler body itself. That means if you get them out of the package, you CANNOT get them mixed up.The pocket clip on the pen is made of plastic and part of the pen. If you carry in a "fat pocket", you can "stress" the plastic and the clip will fall off. Save an empty pen or two to change your still working filler into a different pen body (they are threaded together so the come apart/go back together easily.)Remember also that the wider the point, the quicker your ink will be gone. While Pilot claims their gel ink lasts twice as long as anyone else, you will "write them dry" if you use them regularly.When you consider buying them, decide what colors you want (if any), and also price shop the complete pen with the fillers. Sometimes the whole pens don't cost any more that the fillers as whole pens are often sales priced and fillers alone are not. These are the best gel pens, ever!! I love writing with these pens. The peb glides over the paper so smoothly. I have more artistic swirl for handwriting and with hand movement. I'm glad these gel pens are reasonably priced. I highly recommend trying them out if you enjoy writing and journaling!

I like the bold black g2-10 very easy to use and read

It's hard to find this pen in stores around here so Amazon to the rescue. All I can say is the color is right, the flow speed of the ink is right, and the ink does not bleed through the pages of my journal. Comfortable writing pen. I will continue to buy. It's a friend I keep track of because everyone wants to borrow it.

These pens have nice, creamy ink and are comfortable in the hand. Great.

We are reminded of running out of Magenta printer ribbons all the time after buying a 5-pack of many colors. Why don't they sell these individual colors instead of only available in an assorted pack? That's what the computer vendors are doing. So we have spare Magenta to balance out the Black and whatever else lasts longer.Ink color and non-smear coverage in these is good, duration is adequate, and the "bold point" 1mm is just right for our purposes.

This is my favorite pen, it goes on “thick”, doesn’t get on your hands, as long as you let it dry a quick second or two. Very comfortable and love my handwriting with this pen!
