The trianglular grip part of this oen is both extremely comfortable and also keeps the nib at the perfect writing angle. This pen has not dried up on me even when not used for an entire week! I filled it with Noodlers bulletproof ink. The nib glides over any paper smooth as silk. I love, love, love this pen, so much so that I bought other Lamys (Studio, Al-Star, Joy) in different nib sizes.Lamy nibs run a bit wider than other brands, so an extra fine is somewhere in between extra fine and fine. But the biggest difference is reliability:. While almost all my other pens will have a hard start or skip for quite a while or not write at all if not used for a week, the Lamy pens simply write without any problems. Every one of them. And that is German quality.

I finally got my lovely Lamy fountain pen today but the special tubular container it came in was pretty well dented up, making it useless. I always like to get new things in totally pristine condition but it wasn't sent protected in bubble wrap and placed in a box and the result is I'll have to toss the cool tube container in the trash as it's been rendered useless. There are truly bad things going on in the world these days, as we all know, and so my little unhappiness with the damaged container isn't worth being upset about though I do feel they should spend a tad more money and send them out the way they ought to be sent out instead of trying to save a few cents while taking a chance on heavy boxes not being chucked onto the flimsy envelopes containing these nice pens.

A bit pricey, but beautiful color and very lightweight and comfortable. The nib also feels a bit smoother than the ones on my AL-Stars and Vistas, but that might just be me. My favorite Lamy to date.

I really like Lamy pens with medium nibs. I paid a bit more for this pen than average because it's sold as a better version compared with usual Lamy Al-star (translate the Spanish review for more details). To be honest, it's pretty much indistiguishable from my blue Al-star and not a lot to show for the extra £20 - so although a really great pen I have knocked a star off for the price.

Tengo bastantes plumas de mucho mayor costo, pero no escriben con la suaviadad que las Lamy, que nunca fallan.Este modelo es una versión mejorada del Al Star, básicamente lleva los remaches del capuchón y el cuerpo metálico, el clip y los remaches bañados en bronce, el nuevo plumín Z52, pintura anonizada exclusiva y en envase de aluminio. Sinceramente el envase no sirve para mucho, pero la pluma si trasmite la sensación LX (Luxe) que se pretendía.El plumín Z52 en plumín M es mucho más suave que otro plumín Z50 que tengo en una Lamy Vista, incluso el trazo es más F/M.Muy contento y sorprendido, me ha encantado. La compre con convertidor y una tinta Waterman Brown y el resultado inmejorable.

Edel verpackt in einer runden Hülse, das sieht zum Verschenken natürlich top aus. Der Kugelschreiber liegt gut in der Hand und schreibt weich. Ich habe ihn eigentlich nur bestellt weil ich ein Komplsttset mit Füller wollte. Schreibe selten mit Kuli weil die Handschrift leidet.... Mit diesem hier schreibe ich jedoch fast wie mit Füller. Pur non amando molto il colore marrone devo dire che a questa Lamy LX il colore da un tocco raffinatissimo, riguardo la scrittura nulla da dire... La nota proverbiale qualità

Tolles Produkt. Edles Design. Schriftliche läuft gut, sehr gute Feder. Es macht täglich Spaß mit dem Füller zu schreiben. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Vor allem sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis.
