It's good!
I had my doubts about a refurbished scanner... but surprise, it works great. I wish it came with some instructions and software. I had to find it all on the net, but once I got it setup, everything worked great.

Ideal Scanner
We use this scanner at work and it is by far our favorite. They are harder to find, but worth the buy.

does not last long
the top rollers melt like gummy bears and now it jams and tear up the paper

The scanner works great! However
The scanner works great! However, there is no software! I contacted customer service at Fujitsu and provided the serial number. I was informed that those number were not matched or valid. I contacted the seller, and there was no response. I am unsure where these inexpensive scanners from. I was disappointed at first, but I was then able to operate it with other non-manufacture software. If you are an inexperienced user, I would buy a brand new one.

Looked like new and work fine
I bought 3 for our office. Looked like new and work fine. It works in integration with our office software so I don't know how it works with its own software but with our it works nicely.

I would then turn it off and let it cool down for at least 15 minutes with the feeder ...
Fast scanning, but prone to overheating with heavy use. When it gets too hot, it will feed a document halfway then stop. I would then turn it off and let it cool down for at least 15 minutes with the feeder in the open position. Sometimes I would direct a small fan towards it for faster cooling.
