Don’t expect any instruction, recommendations, or even specifications. I do expect these pass-thru covers will let me route solar cables from outside into my house while keeping the precipitation and insects outside.

Thinner that most I bought in the past and I had to drill holes in the flange to mount it. It works and I got two for the price of one. Its about what you'd expect for the price.

I predrilled holes small enough to hold my screws in place, ran the wires through, put on a thick bead of caulk, and held them in place to tighten. These are tricky to use with the thick, springy wire, so bending them to fit loosely before the caulk paid off. The caulk around the outside and the rubber glands around the wires at the bottom should keep these watertight for decades. These QWORK cable entries are a great value, half the price of other offerings.

I use these to bring coax into my HamShack. They work great and I can get RG8X and LMR400 through them along with solar cell 8/10 ga. wire as well. They'll work for many other size wires, cable or coax as well.

The QWORK 2 Pcs IP68 Waterproof ABS Solar Double Cable Entry is a good buy, but use silicon when installing and then use 2 screws. This winter in Illinois caused all 4 of mine to let go on the vinyl siding. It was a good thing I had them tight to the cable because they held. We felt Cold air in the sunroom and it was coming where the cables came in the room. When it is -7 degrees outside you do not want the wind blowing that in your room. Other than that it is worth the buy!!! Dr GF
