Koh-I-NoorMagic Jumbo Triangular Coloured Pencil, Pack of 24, Multicolor

I love these. I got them to add backgrounds to my coloring pages and they work great. Light pressure lays down rich even bright pigment so you can color a large area without so much effort it tires it your hand. The size also means you cover a large area faster. It comes to a point like any pencil so no problems with tight spots. The multicolor look makes it look like you put in a lot of effort even though you didn't. The drawbacks are the price and it is a little difficult to sharpen but it does fit my two hole sharpener with a bigger side. If it were not so expensive I would definitely get another one for backup.

I love these pencils. They are filled with color surprises. You never know what your are getting. You can get several shades just by rotating the pencil as you color. I use them for backgrounds when I can't decide what to do or I have an object that needs a color but I can't decide on a color combination. So I pick up one of these and off I go. The only problem with these pencils is to find a sharpener that has a hole big enough for them. The hexagonal version isn't a problem because they are in between these pencils and the tritone pencils. I may have to resort to using my utility knife but that's okay. They are worth the effort. I recommend these for when you want a break from serious coloring and just want to have fun.

This set is almost all one needs. Each pencil is thick and triangle shaped with the color number printed in gold next to the company name. Each pencil was in perfect condition and was already sharpened on arrival. There are plenty of color combinations to find something that will work on any project I have used them on. Each pencil has three individual shades of color swirled together and make really cool results in my adult coloring books! The primary complaint is the high price. The secondary complaint is the need of a new pencil sharpener to use on these large triangle shaped pencils. I suggest Sargent Art three hole sharpener with holes at 8 mm, 11 mm, and 16 mm. That sharpener works like bandit on these pencils and every other pencil I have tried.

I love these pencils. They are great for my aching hands and the colors are amazing. A caveat: The colors are the same as in the regular size Tri-Tone pencils, even though these have somewhat different names.I have read that many have question about how to sharpen these. The Triangular shape is Not a problem. Many pencils out there are triangular and sharpen just fine in a regular round sharpener. It's the size that's problematic. Even my large hole sharpener was too small. I solved this by sanding some edges off of the triangle, with a large nail file usually used for acrylic nails. This made the pencil small enough to fit easily into my regular cheap large hole sharpener. (There are cheap metal dual holes sharpener for sale pretty much everywhere. No special, more expensive one needed.)

Think I’ve tried about every brand of multi color pencil out there and these are my favorites! I think this is the largest “Magic” set they have, also have sets of 3/5 and 12 available. These are the xtra large trianglar ones, I have major arthritis and these are so much easier for me than regular size. Just beware you will need large hole sharpener.

This item took a long time to come in the mail. Which surprised me a bit. But I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The case ri hold the pencils is very nice and easy to put in a bags the pencils them self are very nice well made and good quality. The colour combinations are super interesting. I am saving them for a trip with my family and I think the kids will be thrilled to use them. Inpotant to know you will need a larger sharpener from a hardware store as the normal size will not work. Otherwise great buy. Money well spent!!

I am an avid colorer and though I think they are pricey, quite pricey, I couldn’t find them for cheaper, and I had to have them. I had previously purchased a pack of 4 at another store and loved them so I wanted the big pack, but I didn’t want to pay this price. I buckled and paid it, and I love them. They are a bit cumbersome to sharpen and I can’t find a sharpener that really sharpens them the way that I would like, but I do love the pencils.They are an investment, but if you like different colors and having different capabilities at your fingertips, you will have to bite the bullet.
