Perfect fit and works great
My pantry fluorescent bulb went out and I didn't realize that it was such an uncommon size and length. I shopped the big box stores and Walmart but was unable to find a replacement that would fit (fluorescent or LED). I was a little worried about the process of removing the ballast but it was every bit as easy as the instructions made it seem. Very straightforward and works as advertised.

Great solution to my pool table light
Took the chance and cut out ballast. Figured out tombstones were shunted, (double ended power source). Rewired for hot on one end, neutral on the other and replaced cover. Searching for the perfect light was difficult. Color, lumens, watts used, spread of light, frosted lens, type B, T8 base, it's a lot of research. Then when you find it you have to buy a case of25. I only needed one for the pool table light. This place sold me a minimum of 2 and shipped them super quick. When I twisted the new tube in and hit the switch I was immediately satisfied I'd made the smart decision. No ballast delay. Lighting over pool table is everything I imagined. They last so long I'll never have to mess with it again. But I got an extra bulb, just in case.Happy.

Makes converting a florescent fixture to LED a snap. This is my fourth conversion. Would definitely order this again.

Good results after simple DYI re-wire project.
After a bit of a DIY, everything worked as expected and looks very nice. You'll need wire-stripper and couple of wire nuts to re-wire your fixture and remove/bypass the ballast/transformer. Took me about 10 minutes or so to get it done. The color of the light itself was on a warm side, slightly more yellow than warm-white fluorescent that I've used before it. The only time I can see it when two lights (old fluorescent in neighboring fixture) and new LED in the re-wired fixture are lit side-by-side, even then the difference is negligible. Overall I am super happy with this new ballast-less light.

No more noisy ballast and 1/2 the electric bill.
I used this to replace a 30 FT12 tube in my kitchen. The ballast was starting to get real noisy, so I decided to replace the 30 FT12 tube with an LED Ballast Bypass tube that runs directly off the AC line. The kitchen light is on even during the daytime, because the sink is on an inside wall with no window. Good for the plumbing, bad for seeing unless you turn the light on. So I expect a big improvement in the electric bill (14 Watts vs 30 Watts). The LED tube seems a bit brighter than what it replaced as well. Without the ballast, the fixture is now totally silent.

Easy to install and works great
Very easy to install (remove the ballast and wire past it, no big deal...). Fits right in the original socket, looks great!
